00:23Welcome to the City of Golden Friendship, Cagayan de Oro.
00:27So, kakalandlan natin at ang first stop natin dito, actually favorite stop ko talaga to, is my Lola's house.
00:34Because fun fact, she's not that far away from the airport.
00:36The last time I saw her was mga December pa, kasi I came home for Christmas.
00:41This is gonna be my first time seeing her this year.
00:44I'm so excited for you guys to, you know, visit my Lola's house.
00:56I'm here in El Salvador City at the moment, kasi this is where I grew up with my Lola.
01:01At ito ang bahay ng Lola ko.
01:06Wow! Let's go!
01:09Welcome to our humble home.
01:11So, siyempre guys, it's been 4 months since I've seen my Lola.
01:15Yung pinaka favorite kong Lola.
01:17Hi Ma!
01:19Mwah!
01:20Mag-hay ka Ma Ma! Mag-hay ka Ma!
01:22Oo, di ba magka mukha kami?
01:24May twins kumbaga.

01:31Wow!
01:33This is my Lola guys.
01:34Si Kwate.
01:35Si Kwate.
01:37Wala lang.
01:38Pwani lang siya.
01:39Ganun lang siya.
01:39Chilax lang siya.
01:41Pwede kumukuha Ma.
01:42Kung kumukuha ka yung nuna.
01:43I love si Kwate.
01:45Dati tabula yun eh Ma.
01:46Pwede eh.
01:47Your husband's been all my life.
01:49Charis.
01:50Ang o-e ko talaga.
01:51Ang aga-aga.
01:52It's while waiting for the evap.
01:54We're gonna tell you guys why we call my Lolo Paploy.
01:57So, Paploy is short for Papa Loloy.
02:10So, from Paploy, naging shortcut siya su Paploy.
02:13And then, from my baby brother, muntik na siya maging Papoy.
02:17Okay.
02:22Ipating na siya.
02:23Ipating na siya.
02:25Pero matamis and it tastes good.
02:26Masarap siya Ma.
02:27Thank you Ma.
02:27This is the place where we all really come together.
02:30Especially mga fiesta.
02:32Which is also my Lolo's birthday.
02:33Kasi may ganun yung Lolo ko.
02:35Sinasabi niya yung fiesta tsaka birthday niya.
02:37Which was just a few weeks ago.
02:38Be late and happy birthday pa!
02:39Love you!
02:40This is where the memories are made.
02:44And, siyempre, palagi natin ito share share yung mga memories niyan.
02:48Welcome to the video!
02:55Itong photo na nakikita niyo, I was five years old in this picture.
02:58And it was taken at this exact same spot.
03:00Sadly, wala na pong playground nyo.
03:03Pero dito po talaga nangyari.
03:05Lahat ng mga core memories ko nung bata pa ako.
03:07While we are here at the park,
03:10Iikutin po natin ang tibuti mga lokasyon dito.
03:12Which is very, very relevant here in Cagayan de Oro City.
03:20Sir Milo, I wanna ask, how long has this church been here?
03:24Kasi ako growing up, I've always seen this church.
03:26It started here in 1622.
03:28It was a chapel first.
03:30Dito sa cathedral na to, imposibleng hindi mo makikita ang one of the biggest crosses.
03:34Here right in front of the church, I would love to ask, what is the significance of the cross?
03:38This was a record here in 1888.
03:41Probably it was when the Jesuits came here.
03:46Isang bagay talaga na mapapansin mo pag napasok ko sa simbaan
03:49is literally the interior of the church.
03:51But especially the stained glass.
03:54When this church was bombarded in World War II,
03:58our bishop then was an American priest.
04:00He went to the States and asked for the funding.
04:03And then eventually, after the funding came in,
04:06we were given the stained glass from the Sacred Heart in New York.
04:25We're here at the City Museum of Cagayan de Oro.
04:28Fun fact, this was once a water tower in 1922.
04:32This is such a relevant space for me because I've been here because of my school.
04:36So, when you enter the City Museum of Cagayan de Oro,
04:38the first thing you can see is this table in the middle,
04:41which is crafted into such a wonderful piece.
04:43It is called the Higaunon Prayer Table.
04:46Would you like to tell us about it?
04:47The indigenous people, the Higaunon area,
04:50they blessed it.
04:51So, we offer coins for your safe arrival.
04:54I think I do have my coins like this.
04:57It's like this.
04:59So cute.
05:00Since we are in the City Museum of Cagayan de Oro,
05:03where did we get the name from?
05:05It has a river.
05:06We have Oro as in gold.
05:09We have retrieved some of the gold dust.
05:12Speaking of Oro ng Cagayan, we have,
05:15how much is this worth?
05:17This is roughly about 30,000.
05:1930,000?
05:20It's 3,000 ang gram ng 22 karat gold.
05:23This is the 22 karat gold of Cagayan de Oro,
05:27which was found in the rivers.
05:28This one doesn't have any value yet
05:30until the Chinese merchants came in.
05:54Our next stop is the newest eco-destination here in CDO.
05:58Let's go, guys!
06:08Sobrang ganda dito.
06:10I want you guys to really take in this view.
06:14As I told you,
06:14there are 28 falls all leading down to the Elong down there.
06:19This is the one and only Sinulom fall.
06:25Location-wise, it is part of Bukidnon.
06:28But you could get to enjoy the panoramic view of it
06:31from where we are standing right now,
06:32which is considered part of Cagayan de Oro.
06:34Yes.
06:34So, etymology-wise,
06:36Sinulom comes from the root word,
06:38Sulom,
06:38which means the black ants.
06:41Yes, the black ants.
06:42They're like gathering.
06:43Dato parang people gather here to get a source of water,
06:46pero ngayon para din tayong mga black ants.
06:48Let's get together
06:49to enjoy this wonderful falls.
06:51I can't wait to try Bulaw Cold Spring.
07:06To get to Bulaw Cold Spring,
07:08we have to cross the 200-meter hanging bridge.
07:13And you guys can see the view.
07:15It's crazy.
07:16Wow!
07:16It's kind of scary,
07:17but it's not really.
07:18As a professional side quest,
07:20I think this is one of the best side quests
07:22that I've ever done.
07:23It's really just exciting.
07:27We are going down to the Cold Spring called Bulaw.
07:30And it's a rocky way down there.
07:34We've made it to the Cold Spring Bulaw!
07:40It's so cold!
07:42It's so cold!
07:45It's so cold!
07:46It's the cold spring, guys,
07:47because my feet are freezing!
07:48Absolutely majestic!
07:52Absolutely majestic!
07:59At feeling ko masaya masaya.
08:01Sobrang saya talaga pagkasama mo ang friends and family mo.
08:18It's the real fun fact!
08:18Fun fact is,
08:19where are these guys' meals than my cacao farms here at Mindanao?
08:23Where are these kinds of cacao farms?
08:23And we'll get into cacao?
08:25Look, guys, I found one!
08:27It's up in the tree!
08:28It's a bird! It's a plane! No!
08:29It's sinog na cacao.
08:31Wait, this is gonna be hard to get.
08:34Oh, I got one!
08:36Slay! Look at that!
08:38Close up, guys. Sobrang aesthetic niya.
08:40So, parang super suggest ko gagawin mo to once in your life.
08:43From what we harvested to tablaa.
08:46This is Coqua di Sinulom.
08:48And we are now taste testing Siquate.
08:51So, I know we had Siquate this morning.
08:53So, if you don't know how Siquate or Tablaa is made,
08:56we harvest the Coqua.
08:59And then, we roast it.
09:02And then, grind it.
09:03And then, of course, we mold it into whatever shape we have.
09:10Oh, my gosh.
09:11It's really Siquate.
09:13It's really not the same.
09:16They didn't put milk. They didn't put sugar.
09:18You can taste the whole organicness of the Siquate.
09:22So, if you haven't tried the Siquate in serio, this is your scent.
09:39That's what home really feels like.
09:41Knowing that something won't change.
09:43And there's always something that you could come back to.
09:48I wasn't fully prepared for this trip.
09:50But each step, I really enjoyed it.
09:52Each step, I really learned and I've experienced so much.
09:56For 24 hours, this is Charlie Fleming reminding you to sparkle under the sun.
10:13That's how he wins you all.
10:15I thought you were the first time.
10:15This is Charlie Fleming and this is Charlie Fleming.
10:15And he nearly is the one in the blue.
10:15I'm sorry, you know.
10:16You get that little.
10:16And, I'm ready.
10:19I'm ready to go.
10:19And you just finished it all.

10:23I'm ready for it.
10:28It's a little joy.
