04:23pay attention to where the accents are, and just keep in mind that the stinking
04:27doesn't change, ok, because that can be deceptive, it'll sound like you're doing
04:30something different when really you're not, ok, so let's try this, alright.
05:50Gracias por ver el video.

14:14Novak and Virgil, these speed demons, they spend time, I hope, like, getting that stuff going,
14:20you know, and teaching your muscles so that muscle memory happens, okay?
14:25So that's a cool phrase.
14:57Thank you.
15:05Thank you.
15:08Thank you.
15:14Thank you.
15:42Thank you.
15:44Thank you.
15:54Thank you.
16:02Thank you.
16:06Thank you.
16:12Thank you.
16:19Thank you.
16:25Thank you.
16:30Thank you.
16:36Thank you.
16:37Thank you.
16:43Thank you.
16:44Thank you.
16:44Thank you.
16:49Thank you.
16:49Thank you.
16:50Thank you.
16:58Thank you.
17:00Thank you.
17:13Another cool thing.
17:14Another cool thing I found with this stuff is once you get a little comfortable doing it,
17:17I mean, if you take any one of these stickings and you put your hands in a groove position,
17:25like hi-hat and snare drum, ride cymbal and snare drum, and just play one of these phrases
17:29and put, like, the bass drum with the right hand and when the left hand is playing the beginning
17:34of a paradiddle phrase and use that as an accent and ends up turning into a cool groove, you know?
17:39So if you have, like, ba-ba-da-da-da, da-da-da-da-da, right?
17:48Right?
17:48And just putting in, like, boob-a-da-da-boom at the end, right?
17:51Right?
17:51If you put that, like, just hi-hat and snare drum, what was it?
17:54I forget the phrase already.
18:26You know, that kind of thing.
18:27So feel free to experiment with that.
18:28Like, take any number of these and put it through, like, the groove filter, you know?
18:34It's just a matter of getting the bass drum and the snare drum to be loud enough
18:38to where the groove is conveyed, you know?
18:40And try to pick one where you think the groove sounds cool like that one.
18:43It's kind of okay, you know?
18:45So I guess that's pretty much it.
18:47I mean, there's a good handful of examples of this concept.
18:49And like I said, it's something that I'm still working on.
18:52And so I'm just going to leave mistakes in here, like, so you can see, you know,
18:56so you can see the process, you know, like the flubs and, you know, I call them, like, the brain
18:59farts
18:59where, you know, there's a little, like, you know, bump in the road along the way between, like,
19:04I understand it and I'm executing it and I'm trying to do it and listening while I'm doing it.
19:09Like, does it sound the way I want it to sound and that kind of thing.
19:12It's like what I call real-time producing, you know, like producing yourself as you're playing.
19:15It's like that's a whole other topic for a whole other video, you know?
19:19So that's pretty much it, you know?
19:20Again, if you're having trouble pulling this stuff off with your hands, then just hit the pad, you know,
19:25hit the drum and then just work on your singles and your mamadadas, you know,
19:29two strokes on each hand and get them clean.
19:31You know, I'm a big proponent of clean doubles, right?
19:33So no cheating, no buzzing, like, start slow, keep it clean.
19:37And I guess that's it, all right?
19:39So have fun with this stuff and remember, 32nd note paradiddle phrasing.
19:43It's not a toy, all right?
19:44Don't hurt anybody with it.
19:49We'll be right back.
20:16You know, we live today and we can get people off.
20:20I'm the only one who never Ama呵Insteaders, huh?
20:20I'm writing many songs.
20:22We won the poetry plays twice as well.
20:22We work here in a lot from them!
20:23We need them bought any new, man?
20:23I spend it with tape всё and never best time.
