00:00No, I cannot tell you anything about the new Snow White movie.
00:04I've been sworn to secrecy.
00:06Hi, Who, What, Where? This is Rachel Segler.
00:17I think my perfect photoshoot pump-up jam would be Manicure by Lady Gaga.
00:23I think Art Pop is such a beautiful album and doesn't get enough love,
00:29doesn't get enough attention, and I think Manicure is my favorite song off of it.
00:34I love to drink as much water as I possibly can on a photoshoot because you're standing in the
00:38same position sometimes for way too long. You start to go a little bit crazy. Water will wake
00:42you right back up. I'm not a huge coffee drinker. If I was, I'd probably drink coffee too, but I
00:47don't.
00:48I don't have a lot of snacks on photoshoots. I'm really scared. Look at me. I'm wearing a white
00:51suit. I'm just too messy to possibly eat snacks while in very fancy clothing that I do not own.
01:00For pre-shoot ritual, I don't have many, but I feel like the low hum of conversation is very
01:06important to me to just keep my brain awake and to wake everybody up in the morning. Just bring
01:12some good conversation, catch up with my team, my glam team, my styling team. It's very nice.
01:17Post-shoot ritual would probably be taking a nap in the car ride home and then going home and falling
01:25asleep on the couch. My signature scent nowadays is probably Miss Dior. I love the way Miss Dior
01:35smells. It's very floral and beautiful and very light. It's not too overwhelming and it's not an
01:40old lady scent, which I'm always really cognizant of when picking fragrances out.
01:47I'm most looking forward to being back with my glam team. It's been like a year since we all
01:52were together and everything's kind of amping back up with Shazam 2 coming out, so we're kind of just
01:58easing back into spending every waking moment with each other and I'm glad that we get to start doing
02:04that here. I'm probably most excited to wear this meow number that I've never worn them before, so I'm
02:12really excited to wear them in today's shoot. I feel like I really vibe with the I feel like I'm
02:21ancient when it comes to keeping up with trends. I have no idea what is trendy ever. I'm so bad
02:27at it.
02:28But I feel like the clean girl aesthetic, whatever that means, is a thing. And then there was also
02:35like this lip trend that I think Hailey Beaver was talking about that, like, Latinas have been doing
02:41for so long with the liner and gloss. I'm always in with that trend and anything that allows me to
02:47wear like a gloss and just some mascara and makes me feel confident to leave the house.
02:54I don't know if I've been influenced by a lot of trends, but I'm a big fan of everybody who
03:02likes to
03:03express themselves in any art form and I feel like makeup is such an incredible art form where people
03:08get to express themselves. I've been doing my makeup since I was way too young to be doing my makeup
03:13and my mom let me, you know, rifle through her makeup bag and play. So I'm always just supportive
03:20rather than influenced by makeup artists and kids who are out there just expressing themselves via their
03:27makeup or their hair or their fashion. I feel like my most memorable day on Shazam 2 Fury of the
03:36Gods was
03:36probably my last day of shooting, which I can't necessarily spoil for you now because it was a very
03:45pivotal day of shooting, but we all got to be together in the same frame for, you know, on a
03:51superhero
03:51shoot. It's not always common for you to actually be able to look your fellow scene partners in the eye.
03:57Sometimes they're just tennis balls or pink X's of tape on a blue screen. So it was really nice for
04:02all of us to be together and it was very emotional because it was the day a lot of us
04:06wrapped.
04:09No, I cannot tell you anything about the new Snow White movie. But if I could, I would tell you
04:15everything about the new Snow White movie because I'm very excited about it. But I did get a text message
04:21yesterday that the first rough cut is finished, which is so exciting, which means we're just in
04:27the process of, you know, test screening and seeing what needs to be reshot or ADR'd and redone. And
04:33that was such a wild experience from start to finish. I can't wait to share it with people. And
04:39it's going to be in theaters in March of 2024. I think of all the characters I've played,
04:47Lucy Gray Baird in The Hunger Games Ballad of Songbirds and Steaks has, let me say that three
04:54times fast, right? She has the most incredible beauty journey because she's got the looks in the
05:00hob. Fans of the book will understand what I'm talking about, but you know, she's got looks when
05:04she's performing, she's got looks, you know, and then in the games, she's very, you know, dirty and
05:08sweaty and all these things. And then there's a scene in a lake where I get to be completely natural.
05:14So I think that was probably my favorite beauty journey because I got to do so many different
05:19looks on that set. And her beauty and her vanity is very important to her. And the makeup artist and
05:28the makeup designer, Sherry Lawrence and I really came up with a story for each thing that she would put
05:33on her face. So like, you know, her lipstick was made out of beetle juice and all of these different
05:38things, because you have to justify all of these makeup trends that she's doing in the confines of
05:43a kind of, you know, post-apocalyptic setting, a very dystopian setting. Bye, Who, What, Where?
05:50Thank you for hanging out with me on set.
