00:07Hello from Pakistan. So happy to be back here. I'm in Lahore and in this video, I'm going to show
00:13you what $10 thing gets you in this amazing city that you don't want to miss. Oh my God. Look
00:19at
00:19all this steam that's coming off of it. Oh, very good. This is my second time in Pakistan and I've
00:27been counting down the days to come back. There's just something about this place. The warmth of
00:31the people, the energy in the streets and the deep rooted hospitality that makes you feel right at
00:35home. So the people here, they're very curious and they love to see foreigners visiting. Bro, if people
00:39is being hospitable to me, I would not feel like I'm home because most people here are not. In their
00:45city and it's just amazing. They always give you the warmest welcoming. Thank you. Life here is full
00:51of contrasts from bustling bazaars to quiet tea stalls, cricket games and alleyways to motorbikes
00:55weaving through the chaos. Today, my local friend Hamza and I will be diving into the
01:00heart of Lahore. Hi, everyone. How are you doing? I'm good. Thank you. It's vibrant green
01:05streets, colorful rickshaws and rich street food to see just how far $10 can take us in
01:09one of South Asia's most insane cities. Oh, and have I mentioned that this might be the
01:13cheapest place on earth? This is the shop around 30 years ago. They are very famous for their
01:19chickpeas tree. They are selling a 500 kg per day chickpeas tree. Wow. Dude, this is huge.
01:26If I drop my GoPro with this bowl, I'm totally screwed. God, the oil. Yeah. This is the kitchen
01:31side. This is the place where they make all of these. There's just these huge tubs. What
01:38is it? Is it curry? This is chickpeas tree. Chickpeas too. Yeah. This one here is bubbling.
01:43Everything is so huge. Everything is so huge. This is the piping system. Chickpeas
01:48tree throw this pipe onto the serving. Really? Yeah. It goes underground? They don't move this
01:54downstairs? They keep this here? Yes. Throw this piping system to, you know, you do
01:59like a flavor. Charter. Crazy. That's cool, man. Wow. He's about to transfer all the food
02:04downstairs. Yeah. Oh. That is a jacuzzi of chickpeas. Oh, my God. That is insane. Look
02:18at all the steam that's coming off of it. Holy . Let's go. Go, go, go. Hurry up. We're
02:24going to go downstairs and see where it's going. That is the pipe. Oh, my God. Where it
02:28transferred directly to this tub. The huge tub. So, there's the hole right there. Look
02:33at that. It's so cool. It comes down into the tub. So, how do they know when it's coming
02:38down? Yeah. He's transferring. You can see that. You can look through the little hole
02:43there. Yeah. When he transferred it on it, then you can feel it. This pipe cleaning daily
02:47and opened it and drained and all washes around it. Bro, this is genius. This is part of the
02:57Lahori culture. You can see on the top the seeds like and you can say that this is a Lahori
03:01culture, not a naan. Yeah. Here we go. We're moving it on to the bike. This is the authentic
03:07Lahori culture on the roads, in the streets of Lahore.
03:15Too good. Oh, my God. Look at this. Welcome to Pakistan. Bro, 90 cents. That's insane. That is
03:23really spicy, really flavorful, and really delicious. Got to get the chicken in there.
03:30Literally 10. What is the other thing in the pot? I saw the chicken. This was another thing. Is that
03:35potato? 10 out of 10. And this bread. Look at it. Bro, it's so big in the bread. What the
03:41hell?
03:42I feel like in Italy, you can barely get that bread for the same price in a supermarket or in
03:48a bakery,
03:49not in a restaurant. Just like they poke holes in it. This bread was literally made fresh right next door.
03:54Incredible flavor, incredible taste. And there's a reason that it came back to Pakistan. It's the food.
04:03We're not getting some salty lassi. Salty lassi. I actually like it. I feel like most foreigners do
04:11not like this. Yeah. It's really salty. It looks like milk, but it tastes nothing like milk. Hello.
04:17Assalamualaikum. It's early morning, but it's just now starting to get crowded in this little
04:20area of town, wherever we are. These kids keep following. What happened over there? They're still
04:25building stuff in this road. Show me around. It's adorable. Shukriya.
04:33We have made it somewhere across town to our next food stop. This is the place where roadside
04:39he's making, his name is Ahmed, and he's making the prathas and sags and with muck and butter.
04:45It looks good, man. Yeah. Look at all the guys just chilling here eating. Hi. How are you?
04:52Is it good?
04:56One thing I love about this country is that everyone is so friendly. When they see you on the street,
05:00they say hi. They want to know where you're from. Everyone is so nice here, bro. Everyone, every person.
05:04Welcome to Pakistan. The famous hospitality of Lahore is around here.
05:11This little thing he's cooking on is so hot. You can see the flames underneath it. He's not using gas
05:17and any cylinder. He's using only words. How many years have you been cooking this?
05:2350 years old. 50? 50 years. His father is making before that.
05:36Wow. Wow. That's so interesting. Wow. The whole thing looks so good. Thank you.
05:44We got our pratha and now we're going to eat it. All right. We are now going to try the
05:48pratha
05:48with my new friend here. He already finished, but he's been really kind to hang out with me.
05:54Oh, it's so hot. Hot, hot, hot.
05:59Wow. It's like a savory pancake with potatoes in it. Really oily and greasy and really flavorful.
06:06And of course, it's always spicy. Wait, you want to tell me that this one was just 10 cents?
06:10Look at this stuff.
06:16I can only imagine the locals when they see a foreigner, you know, in their country because
06:22I'm guessing it's not something super common. I mean, it's not even common in my city to see foreigners.
06:28So I'm guessing the food that they eat every day, you know, and see a foreigner say,
06:33oh, this is so good. This is so different from what I'm used to. It will be very interesting.
06:40This gate was a connection point between India and Pakistan before the two countries separated.
06:44Cool. That is why this is from India. Nice.
06:48You know, my last time in Pakistan was seven years ago. It's really cool that now that I've visited
06:53every country, it's great to go back to places that I really enjoy, such as Lahore.
06:56I just experienced it from a different perspective and a different point in my life.
07:00I remember this. Yeah.
07:02I have a video standing at the top. Wow.
07:05Why is there no people? That's so cool.
07:06Because this is the time of the school going, you know, that with the passage of time,
07:11after 9 a.m. or 10 a.m., the shops are open. When is it really busy? Like four or
07:15five?
07:16Yeah, very busy. You cannot go on the bike very crowded because this is the clothes market.
07:23Oh, that's an impressive tuk-tuk right there. Yeah.
07:26There's a lot of stuff on that thing. Stuff on that. Hopefully you're enjoying it.
07:30Yeah, man. This is great. There's so much to see in Lahore.
07:33It's an amazing place. Very vibrant. Exactly.
07:36Lots of colors, smiles, everything.
07:40Hello.
07:41How are you?
07:41Hello.
07:42Salamu alaikum.
07:42How are you?
07:43What's up? This is the owner over here and he's...
07:46You know, I keep seeing people with a different color of beard. Is that common?
07:53Do people dye their beard or is actually like that? Is it genetics?
07:58It's so weird because everyone is having like black hair or white hair.
08:02It depends on their age, of course. And then the beard is of another color.
08:07Fascinating.
08:07Making before 27 years ago is making this type of, you know, balls of, you know, butter.
08:14Wow.
08:14With a pure yogurt.
08:14Oh, that's butter.
08:15What do you do with the butter? You just eat the butter?
08:17The butter with the naan. This is the naan, the kulche, Lahori kulche, as I said before.
08:21And with this shakkar, you know, this is very, you know, sweet.
08:27Sweetie, interesting.
08:30Yeah. This is complimentary.
08:33Thank you. Shukriya.
08:35If I grow out my beard, it will look like yours.
08:38I have good hair.
08:40Yeah, natural.
08:40All right, we are now going to try the roti with this buttery ball of deliciousness.
08:47Making with the yogurt, you know?
08:49Yogurt butter ball.
08:54This is really good.
08:55Yeah.
08:56It's a pure butter yogurt ball, but it doesn't taste very heavy.
09:00And like, you don't feel disgusting.
09:01It actually is quite light and nice.
09:03And people drink, after that, drink a lassi and it's complete, you know, breakfast.
09:07Oh, we got a sweet lassi.
09:08Then you keep bringing more food.
09:10Yeah.
09:13Man, that's good.
09:14So this is really popular.
09:15Like, everybody's here.
09:17It's very famous.
09:18Very, very busy.
09:18Yeah. And in Lahore, this is only the point they are making this.
09:22Oh, really?
09:23Yeah.
09:23Thank you. Shukriya.
09:25Thank you, Shukriya.
09:26Wow, bro.
09:29We have arrived at the .
09:30So far, he had already two full meals plus one snack.
09:35And he spent two dollars, bro.
09:38This is crazy.
09:39Next place.
09:40Hello, assalamualaikum.
09:41He's the guy, the followership is about two million on the TikTok.
09:45Is he Pakistani?
09:46Yeah, yeah.
09:47It's Pakistani.
09:47It's from the northern side of Pakistan.
09:50Salamualaikum.
09:51How are you?
09:52I'm fine.
09:53You speak English?
09:53A little bit.
09:54So this guy is the next few people.
09:56He looks very Eastern European, to be honest.
09:59Food vendor, but he looks like straight out of Europe.
10:01You look like you're from Germany.
10:02Yeah, he looks Eastern European.
10:03No, no, but I'm Pakistani.
10:04You're a Pakistani.
10:05No, not Germany, but I would say like somewhere around like Armenia, Georgia, Turkey.
10:14That just shows the diversity in Pakistan.
10:16You have people that have many different faces, different colors.
10:18We could be brothers.
10:20My brother.
10:22Same, same, same.
10:25This is similar to the first one.
10:26Yeah, but the recipe is different.
10:27It's coming from their forefathers, you know, and the homemade recipe.
10:31There's so much construction going on.
10:34It's so interesting.
10:35This is another version of the chickpea curry that we had from this morning,
10:38but it's made with a different recipe here.
10:43Mmm.
10:44It definitely tastes different.
10:45A little sweeter.
10:46I don't know what flavor he's using that's different, but it's not the same as the other one.
10:49And that's why it's great to travel around Pakistan to try a bunch of different dishes,
10:55even if they look the same.
10:56It's still spicy, but not as spicy.
10:59Mouth-watering bite.
11:02It's hard to explain the flavor.
11:04It's like a burst of flavor and spice and savory.
11:08How much?
11:09Can I show it?
11:10No, no, no, no.
11:11Bro.
11:12No, it's okay.
11:13I'm okay.
11:13You're my brother.
11:14That's crazy.
11:15Oh, come in here.
11:16That's typical Pakistani hospitality.
11:18They won't accept money.
11:19It's my brother, very good brother.
11:21He's a nice person.
11:22And you are my...
11:22It's like in the other video, by God, that he couldn't pay even if he wanted to.
11:27Look at your arm.
11:28This is my brother.
11:32All right.
11:34Assalamu alaikum.
11:35Wa alaikum salam.
11:37Are you all a Christian?
11:38American.
11:38American, you're Christian?
11:39Jewish.
11:40I'm Christian, your brother.
11:41I think only 1% of Pakistan is Christian.
11:43Yeah.
11:44You're in the 1%.
11:44What is it like to be Christian here?
11:46No problem.
11:48No problem.
11:49I mean, 1%, it would be about over 2 million people, right?
11:54It's a...
11:54I think I saw it in another video.
11:56There's over 200 millions, the population of Pakistan, if I'm right.
11:59Happy Pakistan.
12:01Pakistan my country.
12:02Bill Greats invented Microsoft.
12:10That's hilarious.
12:11Bro, you can hang out with this guy.
12:13You will never get bored for sure.
12:14Nice to meet you.
12:16Check the app.
12:16Before we dive deeper into this budget challenge, I've got a travel hack that you're going to
12:20want to remember.
12:21It's called UBG and it's my go-to way to stay connected in over 200 destinations around the
12:26world.
12:27With UBG, you get eSIM data plans right from their app, meaning no crazy roaming charges,
12:31no contracts, and no hidden fees.
12:33In fact, you could save up to 90% of what your local carrier would charge you abroad.
12:37Forget wasting time searching for SIM cards, relying on sketchy cafe wifi,
12:41or lugging around pocket hotspots that die halfway through the day.
12:44UBG simply just works.
12:46Even if you run out of data, you can instantly top up inside the app, anytime, anywhere.
12:51Look, here's how simple it is.
12:52The moment you land, activate your eSIM and boom, you've got instant data at your fingertips
12:57with zero stress.
12:58So whether you're traveling for work, play, or-
13:00It's very interesting because it's the first time that I see someone
13:03promoting something different than sailing.
13:05So yeah, it's kind of refreshing.
13:07Down below and use the code DREW for a 10% discount.
13:10All right, now let's get back to the story.
13:15We are walking around the old walled city in Lahore.
13:19Yeah, sure.
13:19It's beautiful here, man.
13:20There's so many people, so many different things.
13:22Is this a city center?
13:24What is this place?
13:24Yeah, this is the middle of, you know, the walled city of Lahore.
13:27Yeah.
13:27Around the 12 gates in old Lahore.
13:30And this is the first gate in old Lahore.
13:32So before 1946, this was India.
13:36This was India.
13:36We were called subcontinent.
13:38And then it split and then it became-
13:40Before, after partition, this area is called, you know, the Lahore.
13:44Outside this side of the city, you can say that the modern Lahore.
13:51This is a Jeda Lassi.
13:53This is called Nomi Bhai.
13:54And it's taking all of our dust.
13:56Oh, yeah.
14:02Whoa, this is amazing, bro.
14:04This is so cool.
14:05They're hand-making the Lassi.
14:07Wow.
14:07Wow.
14:08It's like a whole operation here.
14:10And they're making the whole mixture into one this round.
14:14And mix around it.
14:14This is so satisfying to watch.
14:16In glasses.
14:17Is this a famous place?
14:17It's a very famous place.
14:20This is a yogurt called Balai.
14:22The yogurt on top.
14:23It's very sweet.
14:24It's so cool that they're just sitting here on the middle of the street.
14:26And just with a huge tub of Lassi and making it right in front of your face.
14:29It's amazing.
14:31There it is.
14:32How many Lassi cups do you make in one day?
14:35Uh, it's making almost 10,000.
14:3810,000?
14:38Yeah, yeah, yeah.
14:40And how much is one cup?
14:42One cup is about 180 rupees.
14:44So, almost 50 cents, sorry.
14:4850 cents.
14:50Bro, he's making good money with this business.
14:5410,000 a day, 50 cents each.
14:57Bro, that cannot be.
14:59That cannot be.
15:00He makes 5,000 a day.
15:02Nah, there must be some mistakes, right?
15:04Bro, you wanna tell me that this guy with this is making over 1 million dollars a year.
15:11Over 1.5 million.
15:13Nah, there must have been some mistakes, right?
15:16I mean, kudos if he can.
15:19I'm gonna move it.
15:20Nah, come on.
15:21I would never have the ability to.
15:23Because he would probably work so long.
15:27I mean, if he makes that money, he totally does.
15:29Wow.
15:30This guy's working so hard that the Lassi is in his hair.
15:36So, as you can see, Lassi.
15:38We can call him the Lassi man.
15:40This is a serious beverage here in northern Pakistan.
15:44And all over this region, northern India, Nepal, they love Lassi.
15:47It's just this yogurt, delicious drink.
15:49It's like melted ice cream.
15:51Thank you, shukriya.
15:52Melted ice cream.
15:52I'm drinking Lassi from the famous cup, which is over 100 years old.
15:55Only used to make this Lassi.
15:57You can see inside, it's pretty creamy and thick.
15:59Cheers.
16:00Cheers.
16:06That is the best Lassi I've ever had, hands down.
16:09Very good.
16:10I've had a lot of Lassi.
16:11This is the best one.
16:13Mashallah.
16:14Nice to meet you.
16:17How are you, brother?
16:18Good.
16:18How old are you?
16:19My age is 19.
16:21You're tall.
16:22Yes.
16:22You too.
16:23Yeah, I am also 19.
16:25We're just friends.
16:26And we are here to just create our little enjoyment with the Lassi of Jada.
16:30A memory.
16:30Tell me about this Lassi.
16:31Yes, Lassi was fantastic.
16:33These streets are famous due to Mughal Empire.
16:36Tell me about Lahore.
16:37Lahore is very historical place.
16:39It has very iconic moments.
16:41Sir, what do you like about Lahore?
16:45I love it, bro.
16:45It's amazing.
16:46And what the most dumb thing you like about Pakistan?
16:49The hospitality.
16:51Hospitality.
16:51Yeah, brother.
16:52We love you.
16:53Thank you, man.
16:54Nice to meet you.
16:55Nice to meet you.
16:55It's true.
16:56Pakistani people.
16:57You like it.
16:58You're taking some secret sips behind the camera.
17:01Try it.
17:02Yes.
17:04How's that?
17:08Nice.
17:09The mustachey over there.
17:11Yeah.
17:12He was fantastic.
17:15How much?
17:16No money.
17:25That was good.
17:26Everybody's so nice.
17:27They don't let me pay.
17:29You know, I made a video last time I was here called,
17:31Why is everything free in Pakistan?
17:33Yes, that is the video that I checked out before.
17:35I thought this one would be like the longer version of that video, to be honest.
17:40Because this video was really short.
17:42But no, it's a totally different video.
17:44Wow, that's fantastic.
17:45It has 10 million views.
17:48I'll pay you.
17:49Because they are famous for their hospitality and welcoming the guests.
17:52If they find out you're not from here, they're so nice, they won't take your money.
17:56Yeah.
17:56They just want to like, from their heart, they want to treat you and they want you to be happy.
18:03All right, I'm inside a tuk-tuk, which is the preferred way to get around
18:07pretty much everywhere in South Asia.
18:09This one's pretty comfy.
18:10I got a lot of room back here.
18:12I got my driver.
18:12Assalamualaikum.
18:14Waalaikumussalam.
18:17Next up, I'm heading to the...
18:19Oh my god.
18:21That is one of the most impressive mosques I've ever seen.
18:25Badshahi.
18:27Wow, look at this.
18:28Famous Badshahi mask, which only costs 10 cents to enter.
18:31I'll be meeting up with my good friend Lee, who's also been to every country in the world,
18:35and he's been away all day today at the Wagga border ceremony at the India-Pakistan border.
18:40We've made it to Badshahi mosque here in Lahore, and Lee has a pink dress on.
18:44But this is Lee's first time here.
18:45What do you think, bro?
18:46Pretty cool to be in a new place.
18:48It doesn't happen too often.
18:49Hell yeah.
18:49We're standing here at the Badshahi mosque, which was built in 1671.
18:53It's pretty glorious, incredible building.
18:56Wow, 1671.
18:57Feels like the mosque in Delhi.
18:59Beautiful minarets here.
19:01The birds flying.
19:02It's such a pleasure to be here and see this.
19:06I'm about to do something I've always wanted to do.
19:08Get a fire haircut in Pakistan.
19:12Literally, fire.
19:14Check this out.
19:17Wow.
19:18Hello.
19:18Is this even safe?
19:21Hello.
19:21Oh my god.
19:22Fire haircut.
19:23Yeah, it's okay.
19:25Oh man.
19:26Do you really need?
19:27You already, your hair is already fire.
19:29I just want to do this, and I'm pretty nervous.
19:32It should be interesting.
19:34Wait, is this dangerous?
19:36Dangerous?
19:37No, no, no.
19:38Are you sure?
19:38Easy, yeah.
19:41I don't know what he's putting in my hair.
19:42It's like, it doesn't smell good.
19:44It's like wax or like some olive oil to cook you better.
19:48Hair gel.
19:48It is in chocolate flavor.
19:50Yeah, it smells like chocolate.
19:52All right.
19:53What the hell is going on right now?
19:58So, he's putting a good amount of this stuff.
20:00Like, it's very thick.
20:01Bro, it's normal.
20:02You gotta taste the food before you...
20:07Like I'm bleaching my hair like in the 90s.
20:11This is the fire haircut in Pakistan.
20:20Holy s**t.
20:24That is the most exhilarating thing in the freaking world.
20:34Okay.
20:36This guy's a professional over here.
20:38That is crazy.
20:40My head is on fire.
20:41Like, it actually burns.
20:43Holy crap, man.
20:43That is not for the faint-hearted.
20:47All right.
20:48Feeling relaxed?
20:50Yeah, now I am.
20:50Not before.
20:52Why do you do this in Pakistan?
20:53The fire haircut.
20:54Yeah.
20:55It's so soft.
20:56It's so soft.
20:57It's so soft.
20:57It causes the hair hair soft.
21:00Oh, it makes the hair soft.
21:02This is the art.
21:02Only one person do that.
21:04Really?
21:05You're the only one?
21:06I don't have a question.
21:07If you have lysis or maybe dangerous or whatever, would this help you?
21:12Maybe you can kill all the insects that lies in your...
21:15in your hair, no?
21:17Maybe not.
21:18Yes.
21:19Really?
21:19Yeah.
21:20Why?
21:20My 16 year experience.
21:23And you never killed anyone.
21:24Oh, no, no, no.
21:26This guy's a freaking legend over here.
21:28You cannot confess that in front of a camera.
21:32I've never experienced anything like that in my life.
21:35Now we are doing a regular haircut now.
21:40What is that?
21:41Oh, it's a massage.
21:43This guy definitely knows what he's doing.
21:45The knife is coming out.
21:52Love a finger in the lip.
21:53Oh.
21:55Tasty.
21:56You're welcome.
21:57Thank you very much.
21:58Bye-bye.
21:59Bye-bye.
22:00Holy that was awesome.
22:03Yeah, five bucks.
22:05I think it's very expensive in Pakistan, right?
22:08But I mean, it's so unique.
22:09We definitely cannot get anything that cheap here in Italy.
22:13The cheapest is when I go to the Chinese haircut shop.
22:16There is about 10 euros.
22:18About twice as much.
22:19And that is the cheapest you can find.
22:22Yeah.
22:22Damn, I don't even know what to think right now.
22:25That's the fire haircut in Pakistan.
22:27Let's move onwards.
22:29I have my eyes on some fresh sugarcane juice because I'm seeing it on every corner.
22:33And it's the best.
22:33Yes, I've always seen this on TikTok and YouTube shorts.
22:38Oh my god, I've always wanted to try sugarcane.
22:40It's kind of sweet juice that you can find all over South Asia.
22:43The best part, it's only 20 cents a cup.
22:45Oh, it's so sweet and so good.
22:48Fresh sugarcane juice, man.
22:52Hamza is taking me to the smallest bakery in Lahore.
22:55This is the boys there.
22:56And they are doing a great job.
22:58Baked with love.
22:58And coming from Skardu and making their own bakery.
23:03What should I get?
23:04What's the best one?
23:05Everything is the best one.
23:06The smallest cake in Lahore.
23:08And this is the sundaes.
23:09I've got to try one sundae.
23:10Yeah, one caramel sundae.
23:14All right, this actually looks really good.
23:16It's like a little cup of many different layers of sweets.
23:20Can I be honest, that is the one that looks the least appealing.
23:24The other stuff looked way more delicious, but you can never judge a book by its cover.
23:30Wow, it's like caramel cake.
23:33Really creamy, really, really delicious.
23:41Hamza, where are we now?
23:42We are going to explore the main bazaar, main market of Lahore.
23:47You know, like in the morning, it was pretty empty.
23:49Now, as the day goes on, it gets really, really busy.
23:52Exactly.
23:53All the streets are busy.
23:55That's why this city is so clean, because they're always cleaning.
23:59Everyone is super friendly in Pakistan.
24:02Yeah.
24:02It's one of my favorite things about this country is everybody is friendly.
24:05So welcoming anybody, from anywhere, any religion, we welcome every person in our country with an open heart.
24:13But there's not many tourists here.
24:16Like foreigners, right?
24:18Not many.
24:18I don't know why, but in previous years, a lot of people come to Pakistan and explore the old Lahore
24:24and any other...
24:25Yeah, they don't come here now because they're too scared.
24:27But it's not as scary as you know.
24:29It's not scary at all.
24:30It just has Stan in it.
24:31Yeah.
24:31And people think because of Stan, it's scary.
24:33Super safe here, man.
24:35I don't think so.
24:36How are you?
24:37How's Pakistan?
24:38Where are you from?
24:39America.
24:40Nice to meet you, bro.
24:41Nice to meet you.
24:42Take care.
24:42I just feel like, unfortunately, too many people is doing bad advertisement for India and Pakistan.
24:49So most Europeans prefer other destinations.
24:53And that's really sad, you know.
24:55I'm checking out so many videos about India and Pakistan lately and other countries of Asia where most Italians wouldn't
25:03even travel.
25:05And it's all just because of bad media exposure.
25:09I don't know.
25:10I don't know.
25:10They will just show you what's the worst in the country.
25:13I mean, you can show the worst of any country.
25:16Even the most perfect country in the world and still, you know, you would not want to go there.
25:23So, yeah, come on.
25:25It should be more publicized, the beautiful things, which are on the majority.
25:32This is called dai balai, pure street food and lahore.
25:36Little bit sweet and little bit spicy.
25:38Spicy? Wait, what? Did it just say sweet and spicy?
25:43Street food and lahore. Little bit sweet and little bit spicy.
25:46What? I don't think I've ever tried anything that is both sweet and spicy.
25:55Wow. Interesting.
26:00I'm gonna skip out on trying this because my stomach is gonna be wrecked.
26:03But we're just gonna see what it is.
26:06It's very colorful. There's a lot of things in here.
26:08It's like sweet, sour, savory, spicy.
26:11In the evening, the people are eating as snacks, you know.
26:14This little kid has a chain. Hey, buddy. He has a chain.
26:18How are you? Are you driving a motorcycle?
26:23Bye-bye.
26:25It's so cute.
26:27Where are we going now?
26:28Yeah, this is the Pakistan's most famous biryani called Bakas biryani.
26:32Let's go inside and check it out.
26:34It is biryani time.
26:35Dude, this is crazy. They're bringing out, like, so many freaking plates.
26:40Whoa, man.
26:40They're packing all around.
26:42This is like a biryani factory.
26:43This is the most busiest biryani ever.
26:46Wow.
26:51Dude, this is... I've never seen a production of any kind of food this fast in my life.
26:56All takeaway.
26:56Yeah.
26:58Oh, my God.
26:59So you order out here or you sit over there.
27:01That's only the kitchen back there. You don't actually eat there.
27:05Be careful.
27:08Whoa, dude.
27:10It's so crowded.
27:12I think we can... we can eat it outside.
27:14We can eat it first.
27:16Holy crap.
27:17That is one biryani feast.
27:19Oh, my God.
27:21So many biryani.
27:22I don't even know how people are fitting in here.
27:24There's got to be, like, 200 dudes in there eating biryani.
27:27And then you go down this little circus.
27:29Be careful.
27:30All right, so it's too crowded up there in the shop.
27:33So we are now going to eat on the street corner.
27:36All right, we got our large plate of biryani here.
27:39I can't come to Pakistan and not try biryani, so here we go.
27:44Mmm.
27:46Wow.
27:47Out of everything I've had today, this is by far the best.
27:50It's really, really, really, really spicy.
27:53Really hot, fried rice with pieces of chicken inside
27:56and all kinds of spices that are really, really tasty.
28:00Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
28:02That looks so good.
28:05How is that?
28:06You love it.
28:08It's so yummy.
28:08It's so good.
28:09Right next to me eating, there's a big sinkhole.
28:12So you got to be careful when you're walking.
28:14Oh, my God.
28:14Not to go in the sinkhole.
28:19In total, I got a curry with lahori kulcha,
28:22one lassi,
28:23one paratha,
28:23one butterball,
28:24another lassi,
28:25one tuk-tuk ride,
28:26a ticket to the famous mosque,
28:28a bizarre fire haircut,
28:29a cup of sugarcane juice,
28:31one dessert from Skardu,
28:32and a plate of biryani for exactly $10.
28:35That's incredible.
28:36Pakistan has to be the cheapest country on earth.
