Players are looking for more prize money and influence on the Grand Slams
Transcript
00:00It's not about me. It's about the players who are lower in the ranking, who are suffering.
00:07It's not easy to live in this tennis world with that percentage that we are earning.
00:27We don't want to hurt anyone. We just want to, you know, a discussion with the slams, which we feel
00:35like they are maybe not wanting enough to discuss.
00:41So we're trying some steps to have this discussion and that's it.
00:45It's about the respect, you know, and then when we have to wait for over a year for just a
00:52small response, it's not nice.
00:54Golf is a good example of professional individual global sport that has been through and is still going through very
01:05challenging times in terms of the governance and splitting tours and players
01:09that are able to participate in only one tour. If they go to another, we've seen what's happening. So let's
01:16learn from that.
01:16A lot of us are on the same page and have a kind of a collective action other than just
01:22having conversations.
01:23And I think this is the first like real point of action that we've done. And yeah, I think I'm
01:28I think I'm proud of that.
01:30We were all able to get on the same page.
01:31Thank you so much for for being here, for asking questions, as you as I said thousands of times today
01:38that I have huge respect, but we know what's happening here.
01:43So thank you so much.
