They success breed success...

And that's exactly the thinking of the T&T Red Force brain trust as they are calling for support from all quarters to avoid another lengthy wait.

This as Red Force players were greeted on their return home following victory over Guyana in Antigua.
Transcript
00:00It took the Red Force 20 years to end their title drought in the West Indies Regional
00:04Four-Day Championship. Prior to that, it took 21 years and they have only managed two titles
00:09in the last four decades for a country that has produced a number of talented players at
00:15regional and international level. But head coach Riyad Emrit has no intention of waiting another
00:2020 years. Hopefully we can continue this trend and don't have to wait another 20 years.
00:27For me, we just want to change equality in Toronto and Tobago Cricket. Trust the process,
00:32the most important thing, it's going to be tough. A lot of people don't agree with what we are doing
00:36and that's fine. You don't agree, it won't be around Toronto and Tobago Cricket, but that's just how it's
00:40going to be moving forward. We might not, we will win, but you know as long as equality change
00:45and we get to produce international cricketers, I'm happy. And the former TNT Allrounder isn't
00:50afraid to rustle some feathers to achieve his goal. A lot of people might not like
00:55what I have to say, but you know, I have to say it, you know, please allow us to use
01:01the
01:01Brian Lara facility. It's a sporting facility. We need that facility to be, if we really want us to be,
01:08the professional team that you want us to be. These guys here, they work hard, they train hard.
01:13It's sometimes, you know, we leave the center and it's so much other things that we want to do,
01:18what, because we are, we are crammed, so we could only use so much of that space. It's, you know,
01:24these guys could, could do so much better. Now that they've broken the glass ceiling again,
01:28TTCB President Azim Basarash is calling for due recognition for their achievement.
01:33We stand before a Trinidad and Tobago Red Force team made up entirely of Trinidad and Tobago nationals,
01:41sons of our soil, who have now restored regional cricket supremacy to this country after 20 years.
01:49Therefore, ladies and gentlemen, I respectfully, and I repeat respectfully, called upon the government
01:57and the relevant authorities to extend similar courtesies and recognition to this Red Force team.
02:05Terence Clark, TV6 Sport.
