00:44This pokemon thing has been so cool. There's like big pokemon fossils. It's been really cool. I see a huge
00:51one over there. I'm so ready to see that.
00:56Did you know?
00:59My favorite thing by far is probably, I don't know, I feel like the visual representation of the fossils.
01:26This group has been super excited. We've been talking about it for months.
01:29And then we made sure to become Field Museum members to get the tickets early.
01:36And then we found out like the day after, we just checked the public sales and it was like 20
01:43,000 people long, 12 hours long to get a ticket.
01:46And we're like, yeah, we made the right choice.
01:56I'm so happy to be here today with my kids and they get a learning experience, not only about Pokemon
02:01and seeing all the things that they love and know about their favorite characters.
02:05But they also get to learn about dinosaurs and fossils and how different scientists find all these cool things in
02:12the world.
02:25I think this is a way to get people interested in natural history and us as the custodians of natural
02:30history in this museum are trying to get our collections, leverage our collections, leverage our research expertise to continue and
02:38further science.
02:39I think this exhibit, which melds pop culture with science is an exceptional example of a way to show the
02:46far reaching influence of natural history and why natural history should be important to everybody and why we should continue
02:53to study natural history and science.
02:56How's it going? Nice to be here. Nice to be here. Nice to be here. Do you want to be
03:03feeling shy?
03:04No, things are not nice.
03:11So be honest.
03:13Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
03:14You and I just wanna do it.
03:20No.
03:20No.
03:20No.
