00:07All right, let's go. I didn't even want to talk to you guys. They told me you have to talk
00:11to the
00:11press. All right, let's do it. This troop boom was changing and allies
00:14acting for clarity. What was your message today? You know, guys, first of all, the United States
00:19has global commitments for our military. So we are constantly reevaluating where we're
00:23positioning forces. And since the first day of this administration, the Department of War has
00:27been working on that. And that's known to our allies. I think, you know, what's happening now
00:31is that any decision that's announced or made is viewed through the broader context of some of the,
00:36you know, the frictions that we've had in recent months. But at the end of the day, I think it's
00:41well understood in the alliance that the United States troop presence in Europe is going to be
00:45adjusted. That work was already ongoing. And it's been done in coordination with our allies. I'm not
00:51saying they're going to be thrilled about it, but they certainly are aware of it. You know, we have
00:55obligations in the Indo-Pacific. We have obligations in the Middle East. We have obligations in the
00:58Western Hemisphere. So this has been an ongoing process. It's not shouldn't be a surprise to
01:03anybody.
