Men’s doubles shuttlers Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Rumsani stormed their way into the Malaysia Masters semi-final after beating Japan’s Kakeru Kumagai-Hiroki Nishi on Friday (May 22).

Third seed Sze Fei-Izzuddin were forced to go the distance but came out on top to win 21-17, 16-21, 21-16 in 53 minutes against the eighth seed Japanese pair at the Unifi Arena in Bukit Jalil. It was the first time the pairs met on court.
