00:31The Roman Space Telescope will study huge areas.
00:33It's about 100 times the view that the Hubble Space Telescope has.
00:37We can scan space at about 1,000 times the rate that the Hubble Space Telescope can,
00:44and we look at the universe a little bit differently.
00:46So that will enable us to map the universe in a way that hasn't been done before,
00:51which will help gather information that will let us understand dark matter
00:57and dark energy a little bit better than we do right now.
01:01We'll be cataloging over 20 billion celestial objects,
01:05and one of the things that will enable us to do is to help understand
01:08whether our solar system is unique in the universe
01:11or whether there are other solar systems just like it out there,
01:14which would certainly imply that perhaps there is more chance of life than not.
