00:09The biggest group in the country is the Ullman Brothers Band, the best rock and roll band in America.
00:15All of us musicians, we've never heard anything like that before.
00:18He's one of those people you can describe by simply saying his name, Greg Ullman.
00:22All of a sudden, I mean, I couldn't make a move.
00:25And the road goes on forever
00:29I met all of my brothers and I said, uh-oh, hell comes from hippies.
00:36My brother passed away and it started raining money.
00:40They loved each other.
00:42It's the wonder that we kept the band together.
00:45I had mad at him for dying, I had mad at life.
00:47I was angry at God for taking him.
00:50You never know how much you're leaning on somebody to let die.
00:52I'm gonna let them catch me now
00:54Seems like a lot of tragic and bad things are happening to you guys.
00:58A lot of good things, him.
01:00The Midnight Rack, yeah.
01:04He did love sex, drugs, rock and roll.
01:05But it was a piece of a much bigger puzzle.
01:08The Great Long Brothers.
01:10Couldn't live with each other and they couldn't live without each other either.
01:14Performing was a safe place.
01:17Home, he was in pain.
01:19He got a growing drug addiction.
01:25He was not happy with that person.
01:30The wild man, that wasn't who he was.
01:34Willie said, you all right?
01:36I said, Willie, I'm not all right.
01:38I'm not gonna let them catch me now.
01:40Never told this story.
01:42I'm not gonna let them catch me now.
01:44I might as well.
