00:00Trisha Sharma was a drug addict. That is the claim now made in court by her mother-in-law,
00:04retired Judge Girbala Singh. In her bail application, Girbala alleged that Trisha
00:09would suffer trembling hands, irritation and withdrawal-like symptoms when she could not
00:13access narcotic substances. The plea further claimed that the family provided her monthly
00:18financial support. But Trisha's family says these accusations are a deliberate attempt to defame a
00:23dead woman because Trisha is no longer here to defend herself, the family says.
00:28The 31-year-old Noida woman was found hanging inside her Bhopal home. She was also two months
00:33pregnant. And ever since her death, her family has refused to believe it was suicide. They
00:38allege, Trisha was murdered. Six days later, her body still remains uncleaned as the family
00:43demands a fresh-aimed telepost-mortem and action against her in-laws. Her father has even stood
00:48outside MPCM's residence, threatening self-immolation if justice is denied. Police said an SIT has
00:54been formed to investigate allegations of dowry harassment, assault and destruction of evidence
00:59against Trisha's husband, Samarth Singh, and his mother, retired Judge Girbala Singh.
