00:00At the top of the ballroom is what they call a drone gallery.
00:06We have tremendous amounts of military able to be on the top.
00:11It will be the highest point.
00:13It will be actually higher than this building across.
00:17And we have sites all over Washington, so that's important.
00:21But it will be something very special.
00:24So if you look up at the top, you'll see some interesting things.
00:30And I'll show that to you in a second.
00:31You want to grab that, please?
00:33I'll show that to you in a second.
00:37This is the facade of the building.
00:39There will never be another building like this built.
00:42I've built a lot of great things.
00:44But there will never be anything like this built.
00:46And what we have is the roof is dead flat with absolutely nothing but strength on it.
00:51It's very strong steel.
00:53It's drone proof.
00:55And it's meant for our military to be able to stay on it.
00:58You get a view of Washington.
00:59Also, for the drone building capacity, some of that takes place right down here.
01:06You can see the very large piping and the other things.
01:11It's a very complex building.
01:12It's all knit together.
01:14The roof goes with the ground floor.
01:16The ground floor goes with the roof.
01:18The roof also goes down into the basement.
01:21Everything is connected, intertwined.
01:24Elevators, heating, air conditioning.
01:27It's one building.
01:28That's why we're trying to explain that.
01:29This is one well-knit building.
01:32One thing doesn't work without the other.
01:36Very importantly, though, in terms of the beauty, probably the closest thing to this would be the U.S. Supreme
01:43Court, the facade of the U.S. Supreme Court.
01:46So here's a couple of things you can look at.
01:52How are you?
01:54All right.
01:55There will never be another thing like this, I don't believe, built from a court standpoint.
02:01This is all my money and donors' money.
02:04This is tax-free.
02:06That's how everyone is talking about they're going to give money, they're going to give money.
02:09The money they're going to give is really for the security of that and the whole White House premise.
02:15And I guess you probably need that nowadays.
02:18We've done the fencing on the outside of the White House.
02:21It's all titanium.
02:22You see the black fencing.
02:24That's been just done recently.
02:26And it was approved originally by me and it's been completed and it's very powerful.
02:31Very powerful.
02:32A tractor, a bulldozer cannot knock it over.
02:35It goes down deep and it's titanium, which is the strongest of all of the metals.
02:39It's much stronger than steel, as an example.
02:43The ballroom is all, it's going to be a tremendous, tremendous thing.
02:48As an example, what happened a couple of weeks ago at the White House Correspondents' Center
02:52could not happen here.
02:54One thing that we have is we don't have people living above it.
02:57We don't want that.
02:58That's no good.
02:59They have a thousand units above it with the elevator coming right down next to where the convention
03:05or whatever it may be is.
03:06So, this is a room that's been wanted for 150 years by presidents.
03:13We have no room to have an event.
03:15The only way you can have an event is if you build a tent on the lawn and the tent
03:18would
03:18not do the job.
03:20And by the way, if it rains here because this is built on a wetland, the lawn is impossible
03:25to deal with.
03:27The water goes over everybody's shoes.
03:29It literally goes over the shoes.
03:32So, and they've had a lot of catastrophes with the tent.
03:35So, we have this.
03:36And if you take a look at this section, this is the different facade.
03:42So, this is a Greek.
03:46More or less, it comes out of Greece.
03:49This is the ultimate facade for Greece.
03:52This faces the treasury building.
03:54This faces, this is a different facade.
03:57That's Rome.
03:57And that faces the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial, et cetera.
04:04So, you have two facades.
04:06Primarily, you have two entrances.
04:07You have here, you have here.
04:09But the primary entrance is through the White House, directly through the White House.
04:14And it's really something.
04:15I think you can see the complexity.
04:17All of these columns go directly up to the roof.
04:20And the roof is a barrier.
04:22It's a shield.
04:23Because it's made out of, the side walls are steel, impenetrable steel, and also impenetrable
04:31glass.
04:32The glass is approximately four inches thick.
04:36And yet, it's amazing.
04:38You can see through it as though it didn't exist.
04:40It's amazing.
04:41And it can stop just about anything.
04:44Just about anything.
04:46On the other side of the glass, we have steel and concrete.
04:49So that the glass is very powerful.
04:53What's holding the glass is equally as powerful.
04:56And that's here.
04:58You can see they're just about ready to go up to the top.
05:00All of these columns, they go directly right to the roof of the building.
05:04And again, we call it a drone port.
05:06It's set up for unlimited numbers of drones.
05:11Purposely, we don't have any air conditioning equipment up there because we don't want anything
05:17coming down through the pipes if anybody gets.
05:19Normally, you'd have a lot of air conditioning equipment on the roof.
05:22We built it all inside the building.
05:25Inside the case of the building.
05:27Because we don't want to have anything having to do with air or air quality or any problems playing with
05:33the air.
05:34So you'll notice it's a dead flat roof with no equipment on it.
05:39All of the equipment is inside of the building.
05:42And that's for safety reasons.
05:44Normally, you'd do it a lot less expensive.
05:46You'd do it a different way.
05:47So all of this was paid for by myself.
05:51And because I keep hearing, like, I'm not — we are making a gift of this.
05:55This is a gift.
05:56This is not going to be paid for by the taxpayer.
05:59We have a judge that thinks it's a terrible thing that we're making a gift.
06:03He said, it's terrible that we're making a gift that should be paid for by the taxpayer.
06:07That's one I've never heard before, but I'm sure maybe — I don't know — maybe he doesn't understand.
06:12This is a gift to the United States of America.
06:16And more than a gift, it's going to be one of the most beautiful buildings that's ever been built in
06:21the country or in Washington, D.C.
06:23So here's the other facade you see over here.
06:27And again, this is taken — these great classical buildings, they're taken out of different parts of the world from
06:35very glamorous times.
06:36This is Rome.
06:38They like the flat roof.
06:40Greece likes the — they call it the triangles.
06:43And you see that.
06:44This is a porch that looks out over the city.
06:49Also, it's developed in such a way that we can have military there.
06:53But the entire roof is developed for military.
06:57They're very high.
06:58They're higher than just about anything else.
07:01They have a 360-degree vision of Washington, D.C.
07:05They have a massive drone capacity.
07:08Not only is it drone-proof — if a drone hits it, it bounces off.
07:12It won't have any impact.
07:13But it's also meant as a drone port, so it protects all of Washington — the roof of the building.
07:21Okay?
07:23Now, does anybody have any questions?
07:25If you want, you can take — I think you can bring your cameras up.
07:30But you might want to take a look at the complexity.
07:34These are all different rooms down here.
07:35They're building a hospital.
07:36They're building — it's a military hospital.
07:40They're building a — all sorts of research facilities.
07:44Also, meeting rooms and rooms that go hand-in-hand for the military, using the ballroom.
07:50And the ballroom is really a shield and protecting all of the things that are built here.
07:56This goes — as you see, it's already up to the ground.
08:00This goes down very deep.
08:02You get a better view right over here.
08:04This is down — because we've already done these floors.
08:08But these are already down two floors.
08:10It's down about six stories deep.
08:13That's big stuff.
08:15Normally, when you build a ballroom, you build it flat.
08:17You just build a ballroom.
08:18It would have been built.
08:20The complexity of this — and again, it's all knit.
08:23It's all knit together between the drone-proofing, the missile-proofing.
08:28We have — and the drone capacity upstairs.
08:30We can have all sorts of military up with — I hate to use the word snipers,
08:35but we have great sniper capacity.
08:38It's built for our snipers, not the enemy snipers.
08:41Our snipers.
08:42And because of the height, we get a very clear view of everything all over Washington.
08:48Yeah.
08:48Mr. President, you mentioned that Mr. Teng Teng,
