00:00I would tell all my family and friends during my AGT process, I felt like the Lord was telling me
00:07that this was my season, this was my time.
00:10Before I, you know, tried out for AGT, the 20th season, I kind of was giving up on music.
00:18I've been doing this for such a long time, as you guys know, as you guys have seen on the
00:23internet.
00:24And I was like, you know, Lord, is this what you want from me?
00:27Like, I feel like I'm, you know, I take a step forward and I take 10 steps back.
00:32But what people haven't seen is, you know, the phone calls and the behind the scenes of people kind of
00:39telling me I couldn't do certain things when I was younger because I was Filipino-Mexican.
00:45In a predominantly, like, white and black, you know, music entertainment group, I mean, it was really hard for the
00:54Filipinos to shine.
00:54And I feel like now we're really getting, you know, our chance out there.
00:59And we're really showing everybody, everybody all around the world that us Filipinos, we got talent in every area.
01:07Not only singing, but dancing and acting and then sports.
01:11So it makes me feel, you know, just really proud in my culture and in my people.
01:17And it actually makes me feel really special to be able to have a platform to share on my own
01:22to represent the Filipino people as well.
01:24So...
01:25So...
