ರೈತರು ನನಗೆ ಎರಡೇಟು ಹೊಡೆಯಬಹುದು, ಬಟ್ಟೆ ಹರಿಯಬಹುದು, ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆಯಬಹುದು, ಧಿಕ್ಕಾರ ಹಾಕಬಹುದು. ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಎದುರಿಸಲು ಸಿದ್ಧನಿದ್ದೇನ ಎಂದು ಡಿಸಿಎಂ ಡಿ.ಕೆ.ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್‌ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನನಗೆ ರೈತರು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಭವಿಷ್ಯ ಮುಖ್ಯ. ಮುಂದಿನ 20 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ಬಿಡದಿ ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ದಕ್ಷಿಣದ ಜನರು ನನ್ನ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಡಿನೋಟಿಫೈ ಮಾಡಲು ನಾನಂತೂ ತಯಾರಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.


He stated that farmers may hit him, insult him, or protest against him, but he is prepared to face everything. Shivakumar said the future of farmers and their children is more important to him. He added that after the next 20 years, the people of Bidadi and South Bengaluru will remember the work he has done. He also clarified that he is not ready to denotify the land.
