00:14His post-mortem report has revealed six injuries on his body.
00:18According to reports, three of the injuries were around five to seven days old,
00:22while the others appeared more recent.
00:23And now, fresh questions are being raised around the final days of the 38-year-old son
00:28of late Samajwadi Party founder Mulaim Singh Yadav.
00:30Another report claims Pradeek had recently left the ICU against medical advice,
00:35despite doctors allegedly warning him that the decision could be dangerous.
00:38But what exactly happened in the hours before his death?
00:41According to family sources, Pradeek had been unwell for several days.
00:45Earlier this month, he underwent surgery on his left leg.
00:48After the surgery, he reportedly struggled to walk and suffered severe swelling in the leg.
00:52Doctors later revealed he had been battling deep vein thrombosis,
00:55pulmonary embolism, and other health complications over the past year.
00:59Then came May 12.
01:01Sources say his health suddenly started deteriorating again.
01:04At this time, his wife, Aparna Yadav, was in Assam,
01:07attending the swearing-in ceremony of Himanta Biswasarma.
01:10She reportedly remained in constant touch with his staff over the phone.
01:13By around 11.30pm, Pradeek's condition had worsened significantly.
01:17According to sources, he was taken to civil hospital with the help of staff and the driver.
01:21But later, hospital authorities denied that he received treatment there during the night.
01:25Then came the final few hours.
01:27Around 1.00am, Aparna Yadav reportedly tried calling him.
01:31But the staff informed her that he had gone to sleep.
01:33At around 5.00am, a domestic help entered Pradeek's room.
01:37He was found unconscious, leaning on his elbow.
01:40According to reports, Pradeek had asked for water during the night.
01:43One report also claims a glass slipped from his hand shortly before he collapsed.
01:47An emergency medical officer was rushed to the residence.
01:50But by then, there was reportedly no bodily response, no heart activity.
01:55Pradeek Yadav was taken to the hospital and declared dead around 6.00am.
01:58The provisional post-mortem report later confirmed the cause of death as cardiorespiratory collapse
02:03due to massive pulmonary thromboembolism, a deadly condition where a blood clot blocks arteries in the lungs,
02:09leading to sudden heart and lung failure.
02:24Away from politics, Pradeek was known for his premium gyms, luxury lifestyle and passion for fitness.
02:31But now, it's not the image of power or luxury-dominating headlines.
02:34It is the mystery surrounding his final hours.
