ರಷ್ಯಾ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿರುವ ಈ ಪರಮಾಣು ಶಸ್ತ್ರಸಜ್ಜಿತ ಕ್ಷಿಪಣಿಯ ಹೆಸರು 'ಸರ್ಮತ್'(Russia Test Sarmat Missile). ಆದರೆ ಪಾಶ್ಚಿಮಾತ್ಯ ದೇಶಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅಮೆರಿಕ ಇದನ್ನು ಸೈತಾನ II (Satan II) ಎಂದು ಕರೆದಿದೆ. ಸೋವಿಯತ್ ಕಾಲದ ಹಳೆಯ ವೊಯೆವೊಡಾ ಕ್ಷಿಪಣಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬದಲಿಸಲು ಇದನ್ನು ತಯಾರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
