00:05:57at this juncture, but we do know that The Undertaker is indeed here tonight.

00:06:05The Phenom will be rounding in a WrestleMania form, but the road doesn't get any easier

00:06:11as he takes on the former world champion, King Booker tonight.

00:06:16What a main event, WrestleMania caliber tonight on SmackDown.

00:06:29And we still have The Undertaker versus King Booker to come.

00:06:41We're back here on Friday night SmackDown and, well, WrestleMania fever is now.

00:06:46The match is building as we get ready for Detroit April 1st and, of course,

00:06:50the Money in the Bank ladder match.

00:06:54The following contest is scheduled for one fall.

00:06:57Making his way to the ring from Green Bay, Wisconsin.

00:07:00Weighing in at 235 pounds, Mr. Kennedy.

00:07:10This man right here, Mr. Kennedy, is taking over Sports Entertainment.

00:07:19This is awesome.

00:07:29Every week, I come out here and I say the same damn thing over and over and over again.

00:07:39And it's because, obviously, I got to get it through your people's thick skulls, just who I am.

00:07:55No, you see, I am the future of sports entertainment.

00:08:01I am Mr. Kennedy.

00:08:37Or perhaps as he called himself last week, Mr. Money in the Bank.

00:08:44And from Cambridge, North Carolina, weighing in at 236 pounds, Matt Hardy.

00:08:52Well, Matt Hardy and Mr. Kennedy, two of the eight men who will be competing

00:08:56in the biggest Money in the Bank ladder match in WrestleMania history.

00:09:01They show you the final eight competitors who will get it on April 1st.

00:09:05Edge, CM Punk, King Booker, both Jeff and Matt Hardy, Mr. Kennedy, Finley,

00:09:11and, well, winning the Triple Threat Elimination match, winning that on Raw, the final entrant.

00:09:16Randy Orton, the last two winners of Money in the Bank have gone on to become World Champion, Michael.

00:09:22That is what is at stake at WrestleMania.

00:09:25So it is Matt Hardy squaring off with Mr. Kennedy, two of the Money in the Bank match qualifiers.

00:09:30And this match up here tonight, John, 16 days away from WrestleMania,

00:09:34is it an opportunity for one or both of these men to build momentum?

00:10:11In the middle of the ring, there will be just above that ring a briefcase hanging from the ceiling.

00:10:17Inside that briefcase, John, will be a contract.

00:10:20It is your Money in the Bank, an opportunity to cash in for a championship opportunity any time over a

00:10:27year.

00:10:27And you're allowed to use the ladder to climb it to pull that briefcase down.

00:11:30Although Matt Hardy, a definite dark horse, as you mentioned before, his history in ladder matches.

00:11:40in the same match as opponents at WrestleMania.

00:13:02These guys have different styles to go at it, but the key to winning this match,

00:13:06Michael, is staying with what brought you for Kennedy and for Matt Hardy.

00:13:34Two of the eight men who will participate in the Money in the Bank ladder match at

00:13:38WrestleMania involved in this matchup.

00:13:40And before we went to commercial break, Matt Hardy showing you the good

00:13:45guts and determination he has, which may allow him to win that Money in the Bank match at WrestleMania.

00:13:49This is what WrestleMania means to these guys.

00:13:51And this is what you're gonna see at WrestleMania times ten.

00:13:55And that's that reckless abandon.

00:13:57So reckless abandon, one of the pioneers of the ladder match.

00:14:00They know everything in the world about taking risks.

00:14:03And Matt and Jeff Hardy damn sure have proven they are willing to do it.

00:14:08And what about Edge, who's already won the Money in the Bank ladder match and went in to become champion.

00:14:14This match, Michael, is as loaded as any we've had.

00:14:18You've had some of the best people in the history of ladder matches in this match.

00:14:23With Edge and both the Hardys, you throw in a couple of pure veterans and Finley and the King Booker.

00:14:30All of that, Michael, we're gonna see some action at WrestleMania.

00:14:35And don't forget Finley, who has been involved in the Money in the Bank ladder match at WrestleMania before.

00:14:40Of course, Randy Orton, the former world champion.

00:14:43And let's not forget the ECW superstar CM Punk, his first WrestleMania,

00:14:47looking to make a name for himself.

00:14:51Mr. Kennedy in trouble.

00:14:53And Matt Hardy with another look at the back of the head, but...

00:14:56Wait a minute.

00:14:57That Hardy...

00:14:59That Hardy tweaked his knee.

00:15:02Yeah, it looked like he came up lame.

00:15:04And by the way, CM Punk came to SmackDown last week and damn sure didn't do too well against our

00:15:09Mr. Kennedy.

00:15:10He put on a hell of a show, though.

00:15:11Great competitors, that Punk...

00:15:13Yeah, he got his ass looking into him on SmackDown.

00:15:15That's why we're the...

00:15:17And Matt Hardy went for the Bulldog and Mr. Kennedy right back to the knee.

00:15:21That we believe Matt Hardy tweaked.

00:15:22And that's why Kennedy is number one.

00:15:24What he did to CM Punk last week, he's doing the same thing to Matt Hardy.

00:15:28Now, if Matt Hardy tweaks that knee, the first thing Kennedy does,

00:15:31like a piranha to blood and waters go after it.

00:15:34And that's all well and good.

00:15:35It has been well documented.

00:15:36Oh!

00:15:37And Mr. Kennedy sees a body part injured, he goes right after it.

00:15:40But my question is, will Mr. Kennedy have the ability to do this and use this offensive style

00:15:45in the Money in the Bank ladder match?

00:15:47I don't think so.

00:15:48What do you mean you don't think so?

00:15:50Because there's not one man, but, well, there's gonna be seven men,

00:15:53other men that Kennedy has to worry about.

00:15:55Michael, what you understand, when you go after a body part like that,

00:15:58you see a weakness, you're using your pain.

00:16:00In a match with eight people, Michael, you have to pick your spots.

00:16:04Here's the cover, hook of the leg, kick out.

00:16:06The point I'm trying to make, John, is you can focus on one competitor.

00:16:09There are six other competitors that can climb that ladder and take that briefcase down.

00:16:13Michael, Michael, Michael, it's a good point, but it's misuse.

00:16:17Because what I'm saying is, Kennedy is a smart wrestler.

00:16:20A smart wrestler wins matches when you have more than one opponent where everybody is against everybody,

00:16:25because you picked your spots.

00:16:28You don't have to convince me, I picked Mr. Kennedy to win the Money in the Bank ladder match, remember?

00:16:31Well, aren't you, Nostradamus?

00:16:33And Mr. Kennedy driving elbows and knees directly into the knee of Matt Hardy.

00:16:40Matt Hardy tweaking that knee, coming off the second rope, and Mr. Kennedy is taking advantage.

00:16:45As John said, extremely smart wrestler.

00:16:48What's he gonna do here?

00:16:49A lot of guys wrestle with emotion.

00:16:51The one thing I've gotten onto Matt Hardy about is the fact that he listens to these SmackDown fans way

00:16:56too much.

00:16:57He wrestles on emotion, he wrestles on love, he wrestles on passion.

00:17:01You wanna wrestle like Kennedy does on brains and being willing to do whatever you have to do to win.

00:17:09And Mr. Kennedy continues to work on the knee that Matt Hardy tweaked coming off the second rope.

00:17:15Let's get back to the point you just made.

00:17:16There is not a champion in the history of this company, World Wrestling Entertainment,

00:17:20that has not won that title on emotion, and on work ethic, and working on even just out.

00:17:25Yeah, but it's not about these fans.

00:17:27It's not about these fans.

00:17:28It's about winning, it's about losing.
