The 2027 Nissan Leaf? Hardly recognizable! This might be the kind of redesign that needs to studied because tell me why this actually looks like a cool ride we got to check it out at NYIAS before it makes its ways to roads and Tesla

00:00This EV just got a major facelift that you need to check out. The Nissan Leaf used to be a
00:05kind
00:05of dorky little hatchback, but the new 2026 Leaf now sits higher. It's got a crossover silhouette,
00:11a roomier and more upscale cabin, and way more cargo space in the hatch. The two-tone color
00:16options and 18-inch wheels make it feel way more premium than you'd expect on a budget EV.
00:22Part of that redesign also brings improvements to charging. The Leaf now has two ports,
00:26a level two on the drivers, and a DC fast charger on the passenger side that's compatible with
00:31Tesla's superchargers, getting you from 10% to 80% in just 35 minutes. Range now tops out at 303
00:37miles
00:38and pricing starts around 30K. But what do you think? Is the Leaf's redesign and longer range
00:42enough to get you to drive one?
