00:18dang, we just ain't going to never get a Euphoria Season 3 and then you going to call it Andalé
00:23like you didn't do nothing but drag your feet all these years? Decades have gone by. Years have gone
00:28by. I've watched my godsons grow up into young men waiting on a Season 3 of Euphoria, okay? So for
00:35you to call it Andalé like you been rushing to do something is just a little bit, I'm just a

00:41confused, okay? I don't even remember what happened in Season 1 and 2, alright? Now if y'all did a
00:46rewatch, good job for you, okay? You get a gold star but you know what? I just said I'm just

00:52to go on blind and honestly, I don't know if you really needed to do a rewatch to get into
00:57what
00:57was happening in Season 3. The only thing that you need to remember is that Rue ain't gonna
01:03never get her ish together. Cassie and Nate, that's a whole nother topic because I knew y'all
01:09were hunching but I didn't know that y'all was like actually like in love hunching so I'm just
01:13really confused about that one. But yeah, before I actually get into this week's episode, I just
01:18want to give like a little bit of ground rules, okay? Because lately you guys have been coming to
01:22the channel and y'all been wanting to tussle in the comment section and I just don't understand.
01:25So let me just do a disclaimer, alright? Just in case y'all forgot. I do recaps and reviews. I'm
01:30going to recap the episode and I'm going to add some commentary in between that. It's going to be
01:34funny. I might go a little hard on some of the characters and that's okay because guess what?
01:40They're not real. They're not real. And I'm going to say that one more time because some of y'all
01:44forgetting that, especially when we get to our Testaments review, they're not real, okay? So I'm not
01:49attacking a real person. I'm not attacking the actor or actress that is playing that character. I'm just
01:55talking about these bad choices that everybody be making in euphoria, alright? Because I know y'all
02:00like to tussle in the comment section, but I'm just letting y'all know I can tussle too, alright?
02:05Okay. Now, I want to start with Rue, but actually I'm going to hold off on Rue for a moment
02:10because
02:11I do need to talk about Cassie and Nate because I'm just actually very confused, flabbergasted.
02:17Okay. Cassie is, you know, Rue does this voiceover where, you know, she says that Cassie's living in
02:24a right-wing suburban neighborhood. I'm just trying to understand why Cassie is dressed like a dog
02:31doing these woof-woof song, like videos and stuff. She's trying to become social media famous. And I
02:38was just like, Cassie, I just really hoped and prayed that after all these years that you will
02:42find some self-worth. But obviously you still have not found that, sweetheart. So I'm going to put you
02:47back on the prayer list. And if I find you, I'm going to tell you to go to the altar
02:51because you,
02:53we might actually have to do an exorcism because there has to be some type of spirit in you
02:57that will make you want to marry Nate and do these dog videos. Like, sweetheart, whatever you're doing
03:04is not working. You look cute and all, but you ain't got to do all of that, baby girl. But
03:08of course,
03:08Nate would have a Cybertruck. That actually really tracks for him. But what I'm confused about is
03:15did Nate have a redemption arc that I missed? He not a psychopath no more. He not like, I was
03:21just
03:22a little confused. I don't know if y'all were confused while watching. I know I didn't do my
03:25rewatch, but last time I remembered Nate is still a bad person. I mean, clearly he's a scammer now,
03:30but I was just very confused. Even his reaction of walking in, watching his fiancee do these doggy
03:37videos, the housekeeper, like Wanda can't even do what she needs to do. Now, when he did that snap,
03:42like go downstairs, I was like, no, that's the Nate that I know. But the fact that he didn't like
03:47spaz out on Cassie, like the fact that I've been gone scamming all day, scamming from sun up to sun
03:55down to try to help with this raggedy, ugly looking house. And I'm going to get on that house later.
04:01Cause I'm like, what in the Elvis Presley is going on? Okay. But I was just confused him walking in
04:06on her.
04:07And she's trying to explain that she wants to do videos. And he was like, so you're a prostitute.
04:10And I was like, sweetheart, we don't do that. Sex worker. Okay. Have some class. Okay. Have some
04:14decorum Nate. All right. But she basically saying like, you know, I want to make money. We got the
04:18wedding coming up. And he was like, baby, I got money. And I was like, no, he don't bubble. So
04:22he
04:23said, we got money. You don't need to do that. You don't need to work. And she was just like,
04:26but I
04:26want to like do stuff for the women. I want to carry my own weight. And he was just like,
04:30baby girl, you ain't got to do
04:30that. But what I know that you're not going to do, you're not going to be on OnlyFans. All right.
04:35You're not going to be
04:36doing these doggy woof woof videos because that's just beneath you. And honestly, I was like, girl,
04:41if you want to do OnlyFans, that's fine. But like we can find something better than you doing this
04:46little woof woof. I just felt like, sweetheart, we could do something else. Okay. You could have did a
04:51whole like Elvis thing type of thing. I mean, with the ugly house that you got, you could at least
04:56put
04:57the ugly house to you so you can please do some remodeling very soon. Okay. Cause I don't know what
05:01this was about. Obviously it was a fixer upper, but I don't see no fix it. And I don't see
05:07the decor
05:08upping itself right now because it looks a hot mess. All right. So I guess Nate does enough to
05:14get her to like, not think about it. Um, and you know, he basically says like, Hey, like I got
05:20to
05:20invest in myself first. Absolute red flags. Okay. You got to invest in yourself or are you investing in
05:25us? Cause I'm just confused. You said that you don't have to worry about money. We got money,
05:29but then you saying you ain't got no money. Cause I want my $50,000 floors. And you say that
05:32you
05:32can't afford the $50,000 floors. So then the math isn't math for me because then obviously you don't
05:35have money. Right? Right. I just didn't understand that. So, okay. I just knew that Nate was going
05:43to blow a gasket when he walked in on this, but I guess he's okay. I guess he, he took
05:47over his dad's
05:48business. He's in love with Cassie. I was confused about that. Like I knew y'all was hunching, but I
05:53didn't
05:53really, really think that he was like in love with her to be marrying her. And then especially with her
05:58doing all of this foolishness and the fact that she's willing to tell the neighbor's wife, like,
06:02yeah, I'm going to do these pictures and stuff. And then she was like, sweetheart, like girl,
06:05who's going to pay $50 for that? And you think Nate's going to marry you with all of that?
06:09But I guess he is. I'm just very perplexed by this. I'm sorry. Like to me, Nate is crazy. Right?
06:17And I never believed that he was really in love with Cassie. I know Cassie would do anything for any
06:21man that will show her an ounce of attention. So I understand the Cassie part of this,
06:25but now he's a scammer. Cassie, you could do so much better, honey. Okay. You could do so much
06:31better, honey. You not no ugly girl. You not, you got a nice body. You got some body. You don't
06:38need
06:38to be with scamming Nate and you can't tell that he ain't got no money. Girl, I just don't understand.
06:47So we see that later she's like stalking Maddie in the bathroom. Maddie's living this life. She's
06:53like everyone thinks she's like this Hollywood talent manager, but really she's like the assistant
06:57to the talent manager and she ain't making no money. And I want them to really hone in on this
07:01because a lot of times people think because you work in Hollywood that you have this like proximity
07:05to money. So then you have money. And a lot of people have messaged me like, Hey girl,
07:09like, are you doing this full time? Did you quit your job? Hell no, I didn't quit my job. I
07:13talk to
07:14rich people for a living, but that does not make me rich. They're rich. Okay. Just cause I'm in a
07:19room
07:20with, with richness and money. That doesn't mean that I have money. And I just really,
07:24I hope that they really drive that home about showcasing Maddie and Lexi who are both working
07:30at Hollywood and different ways about how, baby, we live in Cali. The rent is high. That's why I'm
07:36not moving to Cali. Now, Lori, if you want to send me a husband that can afford, and I know
07:40Nathan
07:40ain't got no money. Okay. Broke dudes don't want it. All right. But if you want to send me a
07:45rich man
07:46and says, Hey, I want to move you to LA and I want to give you the desires of your
07:50heart. Cause you
07:51said you would give me the desires in my heart. But if you want to do that, then you can
07:54do that.
07:54But I'm not going to, I'm not going to LA with no money. All right. So I really want y
08:00'all to pay
08:00attention to Maddie and Lexi struggling. Okay. They might be living the Hollywood life,
08:06but they're not going home to the Hollywood life. So I really need y'all to get that message. Cause

08:11feel like it's going to go over your heads and it probably went over your heads,
08:13but hopefully we're going to, we're going to reign that in throughout the course of the season.
08:17All right. So she's talking Maddie on the gram and I don't know if she wants to, I don't know
08:24what
08:24she's going to do. Cassie just always made bad decisions. So I'm not even going to try to think
08:28of that mindset, but we see that, um, you know, she tells her neighbor, like, let me worry about
08:33Nate. Like, girl, I got this. Okay. I got the ring and I'm going to show you how I got
08:38it. So she has
08:38his dinner. She's all these beautiful candles. And then I see what he eating. And I said,
08:44now girl, and maybe this is childhood trauma right here that I'm talking about. It's something about
08:50spaghetti that disrupts my spirit. Is spaghetti good? Absolutely. Is spaghetti a main dish?
08:56Absolutely not. And I don't care what y'all say. It is a side dish. It's not a main dish.
08:59I grew up in the Midwest. So y'all understand we do the catfish with the spaghetti as a side.
09:04All right. Now, I don't know about y'all household because black people are not a model lift,
09:08but I know that when spaghetti is made, you're going to eat spaghetti for the rest of your life.
09:12All right. It feels like that pot of spaghetti is never going to end because for some reason,
09:16our ancestors didn't teach and pass down that you're not supposed to cook the whole box of pasta.
09:23You're not. That's too much. That's why we eating spaghetti the whole month.
09:30Okay. I'm sorry. The spaghetti really did something to my spirit, y'all. And I'm not even going to get
09:34to the boo-boo spaghetti with Rue and them, but I'm going to get to that later. But you asking

09:40husband or your fiance for something, $50,000 in floral arrangements, and you're going to make him
09:45a spaghetti with a dirty martini? Cassie, get it together. Get it together. Please and thank you.
09:53Nate, no, he didn't like it. How about did you like the dinner? No, he didn't like that nasty dinner.
09:57He didn't even have enough sauce on it. Just slurping up noodles with probably no seasoning and no sauce.
10:03Okay. I'm sorry. I said, I won't let her get me worked up this season, but I can already tell
10:07she about to do it. Okay. So Cassie wants to spend $50,000 on florals. I said, Cassie. Now,
10:12even if we did have money, like $50,000 on florals, like girl, that just feels like a little excessive.
10:18Okay. I know weddings cost a lot, but $50,000, that's just a lot of money. I was like, I
10:24don't
10:24even like Nate. And I got to side with Nate on this one. Okay. Now here's the part that really
10:28like, it really like did something to my spirit when she said this. She said, I didn't wait my
10:33entire life to have a ghetto wedding. And I said, Sam, Sam, Sam, Sam, ghetto wedding coming
10:44out of Cassie mouth. Cassie was ghetto. It did something to me. I'm not, I'm going to let
10:50that one slide. I'm going to let that one, I'm going to let it slide. I really shouldn't
10:54let it slide, but I'm going to let it slide. I just thought it was a little weird. Cause why
10:57would Cassie say like, I didn't wait my entire life to have a ghetto wedding, but fine. So
11:01she says that. And then she says, well, maybe we should just have a wedding. Cause baby, if
11:05you don't have the money that you said you have. And I said, I was going to have a good
11:07wedding. I said, I was going to go all out. I've been waiting my whole life for this day.
11:11So if you don't have the money that you say that you have, then baby, just say that. And
11:14then we don't have to get married. So Nate, he actually loved his girl. Cause he really
11:18agreed to her doing the OnlyFans. Like I thought he was going to be like, you don't have to do
11:22that. I'll pay for the flowers. But he said, no, you can do the OnlyFans, but don't put
11:26your face with your tits in the same photo. And I was just like, I know I should be a
11:33little bit more progressive because there's nothing wrong with OnlyFans. If y'all want to
11:36go on OnlyFans, you, you do that because I'm thinking of starting a feat OnlyFans. Okay.
11:40If y'all want to give some advice to that, let me know in the comment section below and we
11:44can talk about it. So I don't have a problem with that, but someone like Nate, it just does
11:48not make sense to the character that we've known for the past two seasons that he will
11:52be okay with his wife having the OnlyFans and showing her tits on OnlyFans. And he's supposed
11:59to be doing this like multimillion dollar real estate investment with all these investors. Like
12:04you're not worried about somebody seeing your wife, her tits on social media. Like I just,
12:11that doesn't make sense to me from a character standpoint. I just want to know, did Jacob tell
12:16y'all that he wasn't going to do this unless you made him a good person? If y'all had
12:20that
12:20conversation, fine. Everybody else doesn't want to play like a psychopath. Okay. For multiple seasons,
12:25but maybe if we could have saw how he became a better person, got a voiceover, like maybe he
12:30went to therapy. Maybe he found the Lord. Okay. Maybe the whole stuff with his daddy just helped
12:35him realize he needs to be a better person. But I just don't feel like we got enough backstory or
12:40anything that happened at the end of season two that I don't remember will lead me to believe that
12:44Nate is all of a sudden a good person. He's going to let Cassie, first of all, that he's going
12:48to love
12:48Cassie and marry Cassie, but also too, that they're, he going to let her be our OnlyFans.
12:54That just, that don't make sense to me. That don't make sense. Just like her said,
12:57the ghetto end, that didn't make sense to me either. So I just need some answers on that. Okay.
13:01Okay. Sam, I just need some answers. All right. So let me go back to Rue. All right. So Rue,
13:06she was telling the truth. She was like, y'all, I bet you've been wondering what I've been up to
13:10these past five years. Okay. And she said nothing good. And I said, you know what? In my heart of
13:15hearts, I wanted you to say something different, but when you said nothing good, I said, yeah,
13:20absolutely. Absolutely. That tracks. That's, that's actually what I would expect out of you,
13:25Rue. Okay. So she's somewhere in Chihuahua and she in Mexico. Okay. I did like the ride,
13:31like the wind needle drop. So I guess she's trying to get over the wall. And I'm like,
13:36is that what the water they're supposed to be building? Is that what they did? Because if all
13:40people had to do was just put the little things up to drive the car up and go down,
13:45I want my money back. Okay. You shouldn't have been doing it in the first place, but just give
13:49us our money back for that. Cause that don't, that don't make no sense. That don't make absolutely no
13:53sense. So she get the car up there and I was actually impressed. And then it looked like,
13:57okay, so all you got to do is go down. I just don't think I could do that. I had
14:00anxiety the entire
14:00time watching this episode. So she tries to like go down, but it's not working. Then she almost
14:05fall back. And then I just had to look away for a moment. She gets out of the car. Okay.
14:11So she
14:11gets her back. She gets out of the car. I thought that the car was going to run over her
14:14foot at
14:15first. Cause that's what really had me shook for the majority of this scene, but she ends up getting
14:21away. And then she crosses over into, uh, Texas. I did like the score here. Now I know I'm in
14:29solidarity with Labyrinth, but I did like the score. I ain't going to hold you. I'm going to tell you
14:34the
14:34truth. Okay. But she gets there and then we see that she's like with this little family,
14:40little house on a prairie family who was obviously like super right wing as well, just in a different
14:45way from Cassie. And so basically she told them that she was like in college working on the article
14:51for the newspaper, talking about how the border, like all these illegals are coming into, uh, America
14:57with no, I was just like, girl, I mean, it makes sense. She, she understood her audience of where she
15:03was staying. I love that shot when she's at the, uh, breakfast table with them. I just like how it
15:08looked like she was in this, like, almost like a Looney Tunes, like play. If it was like a live
15:14action Looney Tunes or something, I really love that shot. I thought it was super cute. Um, but yeah,
15:21so the milk did look like it was good. I know the milk was busting. My, uh, brother's dad on
15:26the farm
15:27and I know that milk was busting. Dahlia, I know she put, she put her big move into that
15:32that glass of milk. Okay. For, so she ends up telling everyone by the daughter, uh, takes her
15:37to the Greyhouse station. I like this conversation that she has with her because, you know, the girl
15:42is like, I wish I can like go see the world. And then she was like, no, I would trade
15:46places with
15:46you in a heartbeat. And we see that this has a lasting effect on her, but it gets her thinking
15:52about religion. Like what would happen if she has something like religion to keep her grounded,
15:56but also too, if she had like, you know, a family, I wonder if she thinks like if her father
16:01never
16:02passed and she had this family unit, you know, would she be a different person? I think that she
16:07believes that she would have. And I do agree, like, even though this, this young girl is living this
16:11sheltered life, I think that she's also sheltered from the bad that the world can bring in. And we've
16:17seen that as we saw who Ru was before drugs and how she is now. Um, so I really did
16:23like
16:23that whole conversation. Now we get more insight as to why she was actually in Mexico in the first
16:28place, because Lori came to collect her coins. So Ru was working at a smoke shack and then Lori
16:34pops up was like, Oh, Hey girl, you remember that you owe me money hoe? And then she was like,
16:39Oh,
16:39I sure did. But girl, I ain't got the 10 K for you, but I could probably get in. She
16:43was like,
16:43Oh, you don't owe me 10 K. I was like, Oh, we, uh, we forgiven drug debt too with the
16:49student loans.
16:49She was like, no, you don't owe me 10 K because you really owe me $43,887,000. And I
16:58said that Lori
16:5820% interest rate over 46 months. That really like that 10 grand really went to, to $43,887,000.
17:11I would have just jumped right then and there. Cause like, how I'm going to pay that back to you?
17:16And then she was like, well, I can sell it for a hundred K. I said, nah, girl, that's a
17:20good deal.
17:20Now she ain't got, if she didn't have 10 K Lori, then she ain't got a hundred K because if
17:26Johnny
17:26had four apples and you took the apple away, that that's just not math. And Lori, you knew that girl
17:32didn't have that dang old money. So this girl became a body. What is it? Body smuggling,
17:37body snatching, body something. Okay. So she's smuggling drugs from Mexico, uh,
17:43fentanyl from Mexico back to the States for Lori. So Lori had to move in with her cousin after Fez,
17:49RIP Angus, uh, got busted by the cops. And we find out that they're actually keeping him alive for the
17:56storyline. And I actually think that's like really dope. I feel like it's like a piece of him that's
18:01still, you know, around. I love, I just, I really liked that they kept him alive, like even in the
18:08storyline and he's just doing, he's doing a bid for 30 years. I mean, so he in jail for the
18:13rest of
18:13his life basically. But, um, we do find out that Lexi, Lexi's not in contact with him, but Rue is
18:19actually in contact with him. So because of everything that happened at the end of season two,
18:23Lori has to close her business where she was. And she moved in with her cousin, uh, and they're
18:28basically running the drug business together. And she was absolutely right. They, it's some
18:32inbreeding going on. Yeah. Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely. Some inbreeding happening right
18:38there. I'm just, I'm not even going to hold you. Okay. Um, so yeah, so we see that she goes
18:46over
18:46there and she has these like bags of drugs that she has to swallow. Now I didn't know, like you
18:53can
18:54ingest KY jelly. I was just like, y'all, is that safe? It wasn't that else she can take. So
18:59she
18:59had to put it in the water. I mean, it was very informative. You got to put it in the
19:02water to
19:02make sure that the bag is, uh, sealed. Cause you know, if it explodes and you, if it gets into
19:08your
19:08bloodstream, like you did like the girl that passed and they just took the drugs out of her. I was
19:13like, dang, you should at least send the body back to the family, something. So she's doing all of
19:17this, that whole sequence. And then she got Faye involved in this craziness, the whole sequence of
19:22them trying to like stuff this stuff down their throat and them gagging and then all the spit
19:26and stuff. I was just like, yuck. Okay. I was like, I get, I get it. I don't know if
19:33I necessarily
19:33needed the visual, but then we saw all them bags and that girl body. I was just like, how you
19:37even
19:38got space to fit all of that in there? Okay. That was, that was a lot. So they go to
19:42the border
19:43and then when dudes like, Hey, like, did you have a good time? And Faye was like, no, like do
19:48it look
19:48like I had a good time. So Rue and Faye are living with Lori. I mean, they got a whole
19:55little
19:55operation. The house looked little, but obviously everybody got a place to sleep. They running a
19:59whole drug lab in the barn, underneath the barn. So I guess they, they got a whole thing going.
20:05Okay. Now here's the part that really disrupted my spirit. All right. And it is back to the spaghetti,
20:10but in a different way. Okay. So they was carrying Rue in. Okay. Because you got to poop the bags
20:18out. So they said, go get the strainer. Red flag one. They picked up the strainer out of the
20:24dishwasher. They picked up the strainer out of the dishwasher. So that means that strainer that you
20:31took so Rue can go poop in the strainer to strain the poop away from the bags. Y'all be
20:37washing that
20:38in the dishwasher with the regular dishes. Yeah. With the regular dishes. So it's feces in the
20:50dishwasher with the dishes, the plates, the forks, the spoons, the cups. And then to make matters
21:00even worse, they was making spaghetti and they took the strainer that Rue pumped in and they
21:07took it and they put the pasta in the strainer. And I don't care if you washed it out. I
21:16don't
21:16care because it shouldn't have been in the dishwasher with the rest of the dishes.
21:23That's like people who wash underwear with a regular clothes or they wash cloths. And if
21:30you, and if you wash your underwear with your washcloths and stuff, don't admit that in the comment
21:36section. Cause I'm gonna let you know right now, I'm going to judge you. Cause that's nasty. It's nasty.
21:43So the fact that y'all was eating a spaghetti and Rue up here smelling a dressing,
21:47hoe, you need to be looking. Why are you eating feces spaghetti? That just didn't make no sense.
21:58I mean, they just nasty, just nasty, nasty. Okay. I'm sorry. I'm already triggered by their
22:10spaghetti in general. Okay. And then you telling me you doing the spaghetti where Ruby,
22:14where she be shitting. It don't make no sense. Okay. Oh, all right. So Ruby driving Uber too on the
22:22side. I don't know how much money she trying to make with the Uber, but I'm like, girl, I mean,
22:27I guess she doing Uber at sale. She could be making some, she had a little minivan and stuff. So
22:30she
22:31could be making some, some decent money, you know, maybe, I don't know. So we do see that
22:38when she, Lexi does let her go to her house and she's like telling her to tea, like how Jules
22:43told
22:43Maddie that she a sugar baby. And, um, you know, this is when we got like all the backstory, her
22:50talking to Lexi about like, Hey, you should call Fez. And then she was like, she was telling her how
22:56she met this Christian family and how it kind of changed her. She was just like, no, you can't do
23:00that. I don't want to be around Christians. And she was like, what's wrong with Christians? She's like,
23:03they're just mental. But I said, but Lexi, you judgmental. So do it matter? I don't think like,
23:10like that just, that didn't make sense to me, Lexi, cause you're just a judgmental as a Christian.
23:14So, you know, I was like, whatever. All right. So she's having a conversation with Ali. It was
23:19nice to see Coleman. She's having a conversation with Ali. And then they talking about somehow
23:24she tells him about this experience and how she wants to like read the Bible. And she says,
23:29she's going to take everything as fact. And I said, now Rue, girl, you smuggling drugs from Mexico.
23:35You eating spaghetti out of the same pasta strainer that you poop in. And you're also on drugs. So
23:43how you going to take stuff literal, boo? You going to be in for a rude awakening. Okay. Cause
23:48from the moment that I got saved, baby, when you realize all the sinning you be doing, I just,
23:54I just had to be like, Lord, it's just some stuff that I'm just going to have to stand about
23:59until I
24:00get married. Okay. Just a couple of things I'm going to have to send about, but it's, it's a
24:05little bit different when you open your eyes and you start reading the Bible. All right.
24:09So Ali, so then she's like, well, how is that going to work? Because I'm gay. And he was like,
24:13okay. And, and she was like, well, they don't like the gays. They used to kill the gays. He was
24:16like,
24:17nah, they was only tripping about the men led with men. And she was like, well, I don't understand
24:20what's the issue with men led with men. And he was like, they trying to run away from, from like,
24:25they, they trying to run away from Pharaoh and stuff. So how they going to do that? If they
24:29hunting the men, you know, they draining all the testosterone out of their body. You supposed to
24:32be protecting everybody, but y'all hunting, giving all your little strong powers away. So how you
24:37going to be laid up if you supposed to be protecting people from getting away from the Pharaoh and
24:42stuff? And I was like, I mean, Ali, I see what you trying to say. Like, I get what you
24:47trying to
24:48say. Right. And so he was just like, they just mad about the butt sex. And then he was like,
24:52I don't know about the butt sex, but I mean, you can't be having butt sex when you try to
24:56run for
24:56your freedom. And I was like, I mean, I mean, they could hunt you or two, you know, like you
25:02got
25:02to rest. And sometimes you might, I don't know, let me just not even get into that. Okay. But the
25:07whole conversation just, it killed me when he was like, wartime, make the time for butt sex. And I
25:12said, okay. And so I like how Ali tells her, like, either you have faith or you don't. Right.
25:17Everyone gets caught up on, okay. Like we could argue about why I don't agree with this part in
25:24the Bible and I don't agree with that part, but do you have faith? Do you believe in God? Like
25:28that is the foundation first, right? Before we get into living according to his word and what's in
25:33the Bible and how people mistranslate the Bible. Like, do you have faith? Do you believe first and
25:38foremost? And I say, okay, Ali, you, you brought that back because we got caught up on butt sex,
25:42but you brought it back to do you have faith. And so she decided that she was going to, you
25:47know,
25:47listen to the Bible. She got her little audio CDs and I was like, okay, well, you better bring it
25:53back for the CDs. But I think you scared the gay man in the backseat of your car with a
25:56doll.
25:57I just don't know if I would be doing that with people in your car, but if you don't care
26:01about
26:01your Uber rating, then that's when you boo. Okay. So Rue gets a call and she has to take a
26:08package
26:08of drugs to Alamo. Okay. And so I actually really liked seeing like Rue with black people. Cause I
26:17just felt like she wasn't like, she'd be around her family black, right? And I leave black, but
26:21just like I'm around like regular black people. I just really liked that interaction for the rest
26:25of this episode. So, um, we see that Bishop is standing real creepy in the garage. She acts like,
26:33Hey, can I go use the bathroom? She walked past Marshawn Lynch character. I don't know why he had
26:38them floaties. You got, you just big man with these muscles and stuff. And you got the floaties
26:42on in the pool. I was just really confused about that. I did like seeing Asante, uh, black in there
26:47as well, even though he dealing drugs too. But I was like, you know, it's just nice to see, see
26:51him
26:52and stuff. Um, but yeah, so we see that while she delivers all of this, she gets caught up on
26:59the
27:00women. Tish asks her like, Hey, can you help me with this? And then she's like, yeah, you got your
27:03titties out. Yeah, girl, I'm finna come help you. So she helps her get it together. Then she's
27:08supposed to be going to the bathroom, Bishop looking for him. And then he looking like,
27:14girl, how are you sitting up here? You're supposed to be making a package and go to the bathroom and
27:17you sit up here partying with all the women having a good old time. And so then Alamo is like,
27:23Hey,
27:23how are you going to come up in my house dancing with my host? And you're not going to say
27:26hi.
27:27Like, that's a real disrespectful. Okay. And so she's like, Oh my bad. Like, you know what?
27:31I think that God brought us together. And I said, now rule.
27:37I don't, I don't, I don't think the Lord was bringing y'all together, boo. I know, I know what
27:43you saying, but I don't, I don't think this was the Lord. I don't think this is the sign that
27:48the
27:48Lord was trying to send you. Okay, girl. Like my man said that he's, he's running the, the hottest
27:54commodity on town, uh, the kitty cat. And he said, he the King of the kitty cats and he owns
27:59all these
27:59strip clubs. And then I was just, I was confused at first. Cause I'm just like, you saying that the
28:04Lord brought you together like this. It was just really confusing for me. But when he said, now,
28:10when Ruth said that this is my dream job, he's like, Oh, you want to be a hoe? And I
28:13was like,
28:14Alamo, no, she, she, she not trying to be a hoe. She, she just trying to like, you know,
28:19she trying to run the hoes like you and make some money, you know, get a slice of heaven is
28:23what she
28:23said. Now, Laura, I'm just telling you what Ruth said. I ain't saying that. Okay.
28:29Just want to make sure. All right. So now here's another part. Okay. So when he was like, Oh,
28:35you a gay one. And I, I did die laughing. Cause it made me think of that video me when
28:39they'd be
28:39like, why is you gay? Or like, I just, I don't know. It's just how he said it. It just
28:44sent me
28:44to the upper room. But when he said, I bet you run them bees like a N word. Now this
28:52was another part
28:53of the episode. I said, Sam, Sam, Sam, Sam, was this ad lib? Did you write that? Why do you
28:58write
28:59that? Why do you write that? Why do you write that? Why? Why? It just, it just wasn't math in
29:14for me.
29:14Okay. All right. It just wasn't math in for me. So we're asking for a job. And then, but in
29:20the
29:20midst of all of this, Tish ends up overdosing on the pills. They relates with fentanyl after
29:26Asante's character tested the drugs. He wasn't too happy about that. And then she, that's when she
29:31said, like, I didn't really think that God brought us together. Like, I didn't know. They just gave me
29:35the bag. I delivered it. I ain't got nothing to do with this foolishness. And then he was like, well,
29:39if you believe in God, let's see if he believe in you. And so he takes her outside. He puts
29:44an apple
29:44on her head. He pulls the trigger and she survives. So I was like, okay, maybe, maybe the Lord was
29:49looking out. I still don't know if he wanted you to pair with somebody to say he the King of
29:53the
29:53peas, but okay, fine. So I guess for right now, the man above believes in her. And that was the
30:00end of
30:00the episode. Overall, I mean, the episode was interesting. I really only care about Rue's storyline,
30:07to be quite honest with you. Um, we didn't get enough Alexi and Maddie for me to like really
30:12get invested in it. And we really didn't get, we didn't get anything with Jules. Um, I'm still
30:18very deeply troubled by the whole Nate being a good person thing. Yeah, he's a scammer, but like,
30:23I just, I need, can someone let me know that I missed something of the redemption arc for Nate?
30:28Cause that just doesn't make sense to me. And also too, I'm not going to hold y'all. I'm so
30:32tired
30:34of Sydney Sweeney just being objectified for her body. I just like, after Euphoria, I understand
30:42that y'all had to fulfill y'all contracts, but after this, I, I don't want, I don't want to
30:48see
30:48you be sexualized unless it just really makes sense for whatever you're in. But honestly,
30:53I just don't want to see her be, it's, it's just like, it was too much. It's just too much
30:58for me.
30:58Cause I know this only the first episode, so I'm sure it's going to get worse. And it just,
31:03I, I'm kind of tired of that, but I do like Ruth being around some other black people. Now I
31:08didn't
31:08want her to be selling drugs and running hoes and stuff for the other black people, but it is nice
31:13just to see her around more blackness. So like, give me more of that. Maybe less of the running the
31:19hoes, but you know, whatever you got to do, girl, I understand people got bills to pay and contracts
31:25to fulfill. But overall for me, the episode's fine. It's fine. I'm more interested just to see what
31:32trouble Ru's going to get herself into and what everybody else has been up to. But I just hope
31:36that the majority of this season isn't going to be us looking at Ru and looking at Cassie. Cause
31:41Cassie really be arcing my everlasting nerves and the few nerves that I have left, I really don't want
31:47to spend them with her getting on them. So I hope that we get to see more of the other
31:51characters in
31:52the next episode. But yeah, overall this episode was fine. It was fine. Beautiful gowns, great set
31:58design, great, great production design. I like the needle drops, um, the little temptations at the
32:03end, but yeah, like overall it was fine. It's fine. It's fine. I'm here for Ru's storyline though.
