00:00It's really exciting. How much longer will I be able to sustain that? Probably not much longer.
00:05I mean, I'm 65, so it's going to, I'm going to start, I'm going to have to slow down a
00:10little bit.
00:10It's always a nice chat with you, Stanley.
00:12Likewise, likewise.
00:13And obviously back with a series which just makes your mouth water.
00:16I remember when I spoke to you for series one, I was like, well, I watched this while I was
00:19on the treadmill
00:19because it's the only way I feel I could keep off all the pasta that you were eating on my
00:24behalf.
00:24But obviously you learn so much. I know you've been, you're so good with your food and your drink and
00:29everything,
00:29but I can see you like learning at the same time when you're doing this.
00:33Do you actually go home and implement what you learn?
00:35Or are you like me where I get a cookbook and I'm like, I'm going to do this.
00:39And then I put it on a shelf and I never look at it again.
00:41Yeah, I do have a tendency to do that.
00:43But I try to implement some of what I've learned in the show.
00:47Because it's, you're seeing it happen right there in front of you.
00:52Do you know what I mean?
00:53And, and it can't help, you can't help but absorb it and want to, and then want to try it
00:58yourself.
00:59Sometimes it works, sometimes.
01:01I was going to say, does it turn out as well as the stuff that they give you?
01:04Not always.
01:06Not always.
01:07What would you say is your favorite starter, main and dessert from this, from this series?
01:13Oh God, I don't know.
01:15Build your...
01:15I don't even know if I can remember.
01:17I'll be honest.
01:17I mean, there's a lot of food.
01:18I'll tell you the, the pasta that I really love, the pasta with the rocks.
01:23Oh my God, that made my mouth water so much.
01:26Un, un, life changing.
01:29Life changing that.
01:30Yeah, Italians have that reputation for the best food for a reason.
01:35For a reason.
01:35Oh my God.
01:36Yeah.
01:36You have so many projects out at the moment.
01:38You obviously have this, everyone's seen you in Devil Wears Prada.
01:41You've got Citadel where you're kicking ass still as well.
01:44I'm like, one, do you have a favorite kind of genre where you're like, okay, this is where I'm in
01:49my comfort zone?
01:50And also, how long do you want to keep just doing the variety that you do?
01:55Is that because I'm exhausted watching you?
01:59I'm like, good for you because I love seeing you on screen.
02:01Oh, thanks.
02:02But I am like, how does he have the energy?
02:04Obviously, they're all broken up, right?
02:06I'm not doing it all.
02:07But sometimes I am doing it all at once.
02:09It's just all come out at once, hasn't it?
02:10Yeah, that's the weird part of it.
02:14For me, it's really exciting.
02:16How much longer will I be able to sustain that?
02:19Probably not much longer.
02:21I mean, I'm 65, so I'm going to have to slow down a little bit.
02:26But for me, that's kind of the joy of being in this business because you can tell stories in so
02:35many different ways.
02:36You know, telling a story like this through the show, telling a fictional story, you know, like The Devil is
02:43Prada, and then some sort of high concept, you know, Kung Fu, whatever it is, you know, or what they
02:50call now at my age, Jerry Action film.
02:53Oh, do you say?
02:54I've not heard that before.
02:54I love that.
02:55So, you know, that kind of stuff is really, really fun.
02:59Yeah.
02:59I'd like to do that stuff like I did with Citadel again because it was really fun.
03:05It was, you know, Joe Russo directing it and these wonderful stunt guys, so that's fun.
03:10Thank you very much, Sandy.
03:11Lovely to see you.
03:12Nice to see you, too.
