00:00Es right we have an internal conversation about our strategy in the Labour Party
00:03for the next election, which I still think we can win, by the way,
00:06by being on the side of the British people,
00:09but I would just say to my colleagues it would be better to have that conversation internally
00:12as opposed to in public, because it detracts from our work as a government
00:15and detracts from the wrongdoings of the other parties.
00:18And it's right that we have those conversations,
00:20given our performance at the ballot box last Thursday,
00:24but there's a difference between the Labour Party and government,
00:26and in government we're getting on with the work that people have elected us
00:29to do.
00:30And as I say, the cabinet conversation this morning will be focusing on our work
00:34to try to de-escalate the situation in the Middle East and to think about what action
00:38the government can take to try to limit the impact of that on people here at home.
