00:00I know that people are frustrated by the state of Britain, frustrated by politics and some people frustrated with me.
00:14I know I have my doubters and I know I need to prove them wrong and I will.
00:20What I want to do is take a big leap forward with the EU-UK summit this year
00:27and take us closer both on trade, the economy, defence and security.
00:32And that will then be a platform on which we can build as we go forward.
00:38But as we do that, I strongly believe we've got to turn our back on the arguments of the past,
00:44not open old grievances, but look forward together to how we make this country stronger,
00:51how we make this country fairer. And so that's the approach that I will take.
