00:03:52you'd like but i started at 15 because easier to do the quests he already comes with a pre uh

00:05:20want to use the burning light board otherwise you're going to want to do oh so that's for offhand
00:05:24yeah just like the shield and then the large shield which i have equipped that's if you're going to be
00:05:30in melee okay it's more logical because it gives you your plus 20 passive for vitality to your hit points
00:05:37so your hit points are the red part and the blue is the spell points red is your life blue
00:05:44is the
00:05:45energy magical energy what you see in front of you is a is action bars i have three of them
00:05:52you start
00:05:53with the game they give you two you can actually get a third one how do you do that i'm
00:05:58going to click
00:05:59options ui settings and by default this will be unchecked where it says lock shortcut icons to the
00:06:05shortcut bar what i did was i pressed this top one because it adds another one what you're going to
00:06:13want to do ideally is have your first two be your primary items that use in the game okay so
00:06:20these
00:06:20would be like in melee and then other things you use and technically i could probably put the third one
00:06:28the second but close enough and notice how there's a lock that means locked means i can't take anything
00:06:33out but i can put things in so you want to have your potions your spells all this stuff here
00:06:39and the
00:06:41up and down you can put uh other supplementary things not primarily used but you can use at your
00:06:47convenience here so you put that there just i'm just giving you the general strategy and information
00:06:53about this okay so here i have some offensive things like nimbus of light
00:07:00right i also have healing for rejuvenation dawn i also have smite holy smite and i also have
00:07:09things like blessing amatar temporary hit points uh divine healing i have cure light wounds here
00:07:20and i have uh heal just regular heal let me have uh turn on dead so make them go away
00:07:28this is cure light wound as well actually have it twice but i i'll substitute that in for something
00:07:33else later um then we have uh some defensive things like knight shield gives your resistance
00:07:39bonus to save so saves is prevent a certain effect from happening so your magic missile is like a missile
00:07:46shootout it's supposed to hit automatically hit but it's based upon a save in terms of it doing
00:07:52damage i believe i also have nimbus of light here as well sometimes good to have a back a second
00:07:58one
00:07:58just in case one of them something comes off the bar you still have it and of course i have
00:08:03blessed which
00:08:04allies are filled with courage plus one morale bonus into attack rolls and saves against fear with an
00:08:11additional plus one per five caster levels maximum five notice it didn't say spell level it's a caster
00:08:18level at caster level 20 bless counters and dispels bane okay so we're at 15 we're not at that level
00:08:27spells highest levels nine okay so what does he have so he has those equipment i showed you and for
00:08:34spells what do you have for spells he has level eight stuff each level has different things
00:08:40i put maybe the most commonly put in stuff actually that's a great point i'm gonna put

00:10:04have your healing and you have your offensive stuff you can put in any order basically you want to group
00:10:08it together that might be most effective just find whatever is most effective for you and i recommend
00:10:14a range item longbow even you have like your crossbow type stuff right and then you get a white crossbow
00:10:26that has bolts and arrows now when you do the quest you have to think about what you're going to
00:10:32have
00:10:33now so here's the question how do you know what quest to do it's a logical question right well
00:10:42what we're going to do is so we're at 15th level first thing you want to do think logically in
00:10:49terms
00:10:49of the game what do we do well we want to do quests that advance make our character stronger not
00:10:56only give
00:10:56us experience points but what they will do is they will uh give us other items so let me show
00:11:10you so
00:11:10what we do is go to adventure ampersand bottom left hand corner adventure companion and we go to patrons
00:11:17i mean see the list of all the patrons here what we're going to do is think about okay
00:11:23now if you don't know which one does what you can actually look it up but i'm going to tell
00:11:27you in advance to save you some time coin lords what coin lords does it will give you bags now

00:11:40can get a fourth tab and then you can get a fifth tab later from coin lords okay notice i

00:11:56because i got two from coin lords so you start off with two once you have enough of that the

00:12:10or things where you can get extra skill skills so house contract gives you the diplomacy and search

00:12:37these and we get
00:12:38this total for example two seven and eighteen is 27 right so because he does healing i do mostly
00:12:43healing spell graph for uh spell graph for efficient uh for efficacy the total effect and so what happens
00:12:52is each one of each one of them does certain things most of it is pretty strange straightforward
00:12:58the cleric is not a rogue so he doesn't move silently he doesn't open locks per se he doesn't perform
00:13:04he
00:13:04doesn't repair he can do a search we search is sort of if we're closer and we're inspecting something
00:13:11that's a search now a spot spot is you see something from a distance okay tumble is you pretty much
00:13:21jump
00:13:23acrobatically use magic device you're able to use an item you wouldn't normally have proficiency to use
00:13:31and that's charisma based so your clerics your uh your bards your favorite souls use those
00:13:41um also of course if you have the stats you can use it jump of course pretty straightforward
00:13:47the disabled device so if you let's say you find a trap you want to disable it you can use
00:13:52disabled
00:13:53device diplomacy to prevent conflict bluff uh you have heal concentration say you're in the middle of
00:14:00something allows you to retain more of for the so for the monk they use key it's basically energy
00:14:06that's a japanese word for meaning energy swim so some there's some places where you need to swim
00:14:13uh tumble and also a lot of these things you like you can get uh bonuses to strength or like
00:14:20this
00:14:21things like that to counteract any minuses like for example i have a minus in swim
00:14:27which is not very good with swimming but you can add things to strength to do that now strength is
00:14:34where
00:14:34well under stats tab you see our our our our stats right strength dexterity constitution intelligence
00:14:41wisdom with a cleric your main stat is wisdom okay that gives you your spell test then recommended
00:14:50for me i would recommend constitution because that gives us our so this is our healing i mean that gives
00:14:57us our our hit points dexterity is just your ability to be agile intelligence ability to learn things
00:15:04so the clip the wizard would use that the rogue would use that charisma that's more for like i said
00:15:12the
00:15:12bard favored soul and uh yeah and also of course the paladin wizard that is for the the ranger cleric
00:15:26and that's a cleric yeah wizard cleric yeah mainly this already comes with higher charisma so i'll keep
00:15:34it at that point baseline and then what i do is if i need to use strength more i can
00:15:39get potions to buff
00:15:40that up on the bottom you'll see resistances these are different damage types so this is acid this is
00:15:45cold this is electricity this is fire this is sonic this is physical and this is magical so you see
00:15:55this
00:15:56is the this is the type the race is sun elf right you have dark elf think of like drizzit
00:16:02if you know
00:16:02the lore right there's it from the underdark that's dark elf you have uh sun elf right there from different
00:16:11parts of the world right and then you have high elf think of like lord of the rings it's like
00:16:16high
00:16:17this one's a sun elf they get some racial things that gives you bonuses also we have feats too that
00:16:25comes with it so if we see a square those are clickies those are the things we have here we
00:16:30click
00:16:30on it and it has an effect if it's uh let's say hexagonal shape that means those are uh they're
00:16:40gonna
00:16:40be actually passive benefits that happen now we have sunder and trips under breaking armor and trip
00:16:46those are more for your fighter can be used meta magic or extra abilities you have with it so empower
00:16:55healing and power spell maximize and quicken those are for situational types of things quicken is
00:17:01faster maximizes will give you an additional 150 spell points for casting spells affected by max but they
00:17:07consume 25 for each time you cast it so in power spell active you gain 75 spell power while casting
00:17:15is
00:17:15empowered by power but it consumes so it does um it'll give you more but then it'll cost more to
00:17:24caught uh
00:17:24to cast them and i believe it does more damage and also for healing the same type of thing has
00:17:31a greater
00:17:31effect meaning 75 healing point casting spells affected by power they consume 10 more so this will give you
00:17:39more healing this will give you more effect on the spell this will give you the maximum maximal damage
00:17:51and then quicken is speed
00:17:55you want to be careful of those because it uses more of your spell points but think of his situation
00:18:01also we have other things like religious feats flames okay gives you your wreath and flames does
00:18:12additional 1d8 fire damage get you provides a sacred bonus to you to reduces 25 of cold damage so i
00:18:21can

00:18:29more effects with that cleric also higher levels has resurrect so if your character dies right
00:18:37you can see raise dead resurrects the character to 10 percent of the target's hit points you have

00:19:55class it can't do everything but it has its specialty also has racial feeds has king senses
00:20:02so it gains plus two bonus to listen search and spot checks has an enchantment save bonus because it's
00:20:09an elf i mean i need a sleep which is really good we're not going to use sneak it comes
00:20:15with sneak um
00:20:16this is some quest where it's good to have sneak we're not going to be using that we have things
00:20:21like herald durability so in addition to every melee combat style you gain 25 bonus to the hit points
00:20:29gain from your class levels that's very good and improve heroic ability get an additional five hit points
00:20:37we have defensive fighting we're not so much using it these are our main ones spontaneous casting
00:20:45gain an additional spell preparation per level cure spell of that wow that's powerful
00:20:52powerful and it's powerful
00:21:03okay so this will give them extra healing with when they go to the shrine right
00:21:10don't you search so much i'm going to put that spontaneous casting in
00:21:17it's just too good
00:21:20okay we also have things like blessing of armature which i have here three uses of it per rest
00:21:28divine healing of course holy smite is does damage members of light also shoots out a rate to do damage
00:21:35holy smite that will give a certain uh radius away rejuvenation of dawn
00:21:42heals uh 10 000 hit points you are targeted ally removes all ability damage death penalty effects
00:21:49negative levels and conditions fatigue blind days deaf deafened diseased exhausted fatigue feel reminded
00:21:57insanity nauseated poisoned and stunned very good uh searing light that's also an uh an offense ability
00:22:06uh does 7 to 12 light damage per caster level with a maximum of 10 so it would be 7
00:22:13to 12 per
00:22:1810. so it's basically 10 d uh so it's 7 times 10 or so 7 7 d 10 or 12
00:22:28d 10 so whatever you roll it's
00:22:317 7 7 to 12 to 12 per caster level so it's either going to be within that range times
00:22:3710 so it's either
00:22:38it's going to be a range of 70 or 120. now it deals in 1d6 so it'll do 1d6 per
00:22:47caster level
00:22:51uh sorry yeah 1d6 plus 6 per caster level or deals double that damage one bit okay so per caster
00:22:59level it's
00:23:0015. so it's 15 d6 plus 6. so minimum it does is 21 damage um and then undead is going
00:23:11to do double that
00:23:11whatever it did double so yes that's what their whole thing is um we also have some other passive
00:23:18abilities that's from enhancements so i'll show you 10 percent enhancements well when you first get the
00:23:26character you want to focus on what type of sun what type of morning lord cleric do you want to
00:23:32be
00:23:32melee that's your war priest you want to be more healing that's radiant servant you want to be more
00:23:38offensive like mine divine disciple and then you want to splash in or add in some morning or why
00:23:44there's extra abilities you can put in or enhance what you do notice the top levels that's if you have
00:23:51enough points so notice i already use all my action points for an easy each one is an enhancement but
00:23:57you can use free you need action points to use the enhancements enhancements are extra abilities that are
00:24:04specific to the class okay so use your points how to get them each one of these ranks okay so
00:24:12the next
00:24:12level is going to bring me to 16. now here's the next thing you should consider
00:24:19how do you know what to do well again we want to focus on so we click ampersand adventure compendium
00:24:30patrons which patron are we going to be doing quest for okay we're going to be doing quest because we're
00:24:34in house fairland house fairland because we're it's the closest one to level up to the next level
00:24:39right that would be one of the indications so what we do is say okay it's house fairland we go
00:24:45to
00:24:45adventures tab click patreon and go in descending order alphabetical descending order so from a to z
00:24:55right so a to z alphabetical alphabetical it's a to z or z to a depending on if it's descending
00:25:02a to z or
00:25:04ascending z to a so we're just going to scroll down to house
00:25:12fairland house fairland here's a recommendation just click on the first one in the list all the way
00:25:16down so you know okay everything from there down and then the end is here now you want to look

00:25:26the ones you've done versus you haven't done and then you want to look at well so if you haven't

00:25:32the basic quest in here i would recommend doing like cage trolls uh faithful departed um not faithful
00:25:41departed rest for the restless and church in the cult actually do i have church in the cult have i
00:25:49done that one so you can just search here church and the cult we have not done that

00:26:02whisper dooms spawn go back to here adventure companion and we already have adventures selected

00:27:00reaper doesn't help us get more favor we want to focus on favor to get the rewards of the game
00:27:07reaper gives us more xp but it doesn't give us more favor and it's much harder so let's stay away
00:27:13from that especially starting out if your vip can go directly to doing elite if not you'll have to do
00:27:19on
00:27:20normal right then we have then it unlocks hard we do in a hard and then it'll unlock elite so
00:27:27we can
00:27:27still do it but in that order or if someone in the party can unlock elite we can do it
00:27:32to keep in mind
00:27:34each one quest has a level this is base level uh six elite is two levels up so the way
00:27:42you understand it
00:27:42is the base level is at normal six hard is one more level up and elite is two levels up
00:27:50so i did
00:27:51actually was on level eight level eight gave me 12 favor okay let's look at the other ones level seven
00:27:58gave me 18 favor for elite and then also you see information is key it's a level two quest elite

00:28:0712 which is a lot for that low quest

00:28:31click on house verlin enclave which is basically just a district in the game and we have the
00:28:37church of the cult that's already been we've already picked it up on a whisper doom we have picked it

00:28:42once the base level is 11 we're going to be doing on elite well what's our level 15 so we

00:28:48so once we have that make sure we have the potions okay what we want to do before we start

00:28:59type of
00:29:00monsters the traps the puzzles or any other challenges and then also what should we bring
00:29:07okay uh what type of damage do they do okay do they do electricity you do the acid do they
00:29:12fire or cold
00:29:15okay let's have an asset here let me put cold there actually because i don't need it twice
00:29:24where's cold is that cold yeah let's put the cold there so also you want to have a range weapon
00:29:32for
00:29:32especially for some quests because you can't jump up and hit them and for this quest you're going to

00:29:42to do is you can look in various places so you can pull the name of the quest and click
00:29:46on a corresponding

00:30:09also gives you reduces the cold thing so reduces actually uh gives you plus 30 reduction to fire

00:31:33ranged and healing also because they are evil creatures we want something that does more damage
00:31:39to evil so what you can do is you can get your regular one and so you go into let

00:31:46and marketplace because i can just talk about it but i need to show you where it is
00:31:51so what you want to do is get your higher links okay so let's go i'm going to go this

00:32:02well there's different ways by the way this is if yeah in here by the way is where you pick

00:34:10we don't have enough favor to use once we have enough favor we can use this it gives
00:34:14actually extended spells that are stronger we have this favorite also give you your you go here to
00:34:21pick it up and then they can use it here as well right so here it's like okay you got

00:36:25the thing you're going to want to do is get a higher wound folder
00:36:30this will allow you to have multiple how many different two types i think
