00:01The King has attended a service at St Paul's Cathedral to recognise outstanding service by
00:06members of the Order of St Michael and St George, marking his first such ceremony as monarch. The
00:12service honours people who have worked overseas or contributed to foreign and commonwealth affairs.
00:17A fanfare of state trumpeters greeted the King on arrival before he was welcomed inside by the Duke
00:23of Kent. He later took part in a procession through the cathedral alongside members of
00:28the Order and ceremonial guards. During the service, names of members who have died since the last
00:34ceremony were read aloud in remembrance. The congregation then joined in the national anthem,
00:41closing the ceremony.
