00:02:48is God's universality meaning he is everything all the positive things in the created universe

00:02:57point to Christ he is the reality of God of man and of every positive thing in the universe he

00:03:12inclusive he is excellent he is precious he is preeminent he is wonderful his name is wonderful

00:03:26in the book of Daniel five aspects of Christ are unveiled to us reminding us that the Bible is an

00:03:39unfolding of Christ the Bible is a book of Christ God's economy is centered on Christ and no matter

00:03:50how much we must engage

00:03:52even in the spiritual warfare to bring in the kingdom neither the warfare nor the kingdom nor our experiences nor

00:04:02our victories nor our failures are preeminent Christ and Christ alone is excellent precious and preeminent

00:04:10and tonight we have the blessed opportunity as much as we are able through the exercise of our spirit

00:04:20and our heart to center on him to focus on him to consider him to appreciate him to concentrate on

00:04:31him to behold him to love him to enjoy him to be one with him to be constituted with

00:04:39him to live him to express him even to become him in his life

00:04:46in nature in constitution in appearance and expression but not in his unique Godhead

00:04:57Daniel shows Christ in his death with his death being the dividing line of the ages that is in the

00:05:10vision of the 70 weeks in chapter 9 the book of Daniel reveals Christ in the

00:05:50to receive the kingdom that is presented in chapter 7 and in chapter 3 when God's chosen ones are

00:06:05suffering Christ is present

00:06:08as their companion in tribulation as their companion in tribulation the one in the fire with them the

00:06:18one who never leaves them alone then in chapter 10

00:06:27Christ is presented as a man as Jehovah God becoming a man in his excellency

00:06:37Christ is forgiven Holiday Depbak with every property preciousness and preeminence and as far as I

00:06:43know the message tonight will be the last in the series on Daniel and I expect that we will turn

00:06:53to Job and approach this matter from another dimension through our brother Ed's portion next week but are lives

00:07:12Christ in God's administration so we dare not be sure of anything but that is

00:07:19what we intend strictly speaking according to the sequence of chapter 10

00:07:36intention for many weeks but something happened under the Lord's sovereignty and

00:07:46as the result of that and all that was related to that I began to have the

00:07:54leading I believe from the spirit to present the message on spiritual warfare

00:08:00fighting to bring in the kingdom last week I do believe in the Lord's presence

00:08:09that was the right time to present that word but according to the structure of

00:08:19chapter 10 of Daniel the vision of Christ is presented first and that is a strong

00:08:28indicator that no event no prophecy no activity in God's economy should occupy

00:08:43our intention then it was very burdened in his prayer concerning God's kingdom and

00:08:50God's people God's house in God's holy city he was intensely exercised and a word

00:09:01according to Daniel Daniel 10 1 was revealed to him and Daniel was given

00:09:07understanding of the vision but before there was any prophecy any disclosure of

00:09:17of future events there was a revelation through a vision of the excellent Christ as the precious and

00:09:29preeminent one in God's move Christians in the United States for decades actually since about 1969 or

00:09:4470 have been intensely

00:09:47preoccupied with the study of prophecy as popularly and superficially presented as it

00:09:59usually is a book from someone regarded as an expert in prophecy became a phenomenal

00:11:30people to the all-inclusive Christ

00:11:36so we need to be reminded is not a strong enough word we need to be disciplined and trained by

00:11:46the spirit not to allow anything even in the scriptures

00:12:54I wouldn't say aside

00:12:57but in their proper place

00:13:01we all want to be the overcomers

00:13:03we pray to be the overcomers

00:13:05we aspire to be the overcomers

00:13:08we've given ourselves

00:13:10to the Lord

00:13:11to be produced as the overcomers

00:13:14we're not ashamed of this

00:13:18but let us not allow

00:13:20our concern

00:13:22about whether or not

00:13:24we will be overcomers

00:13:25to be more important to us

00:13:27than the overcomer

00:13:30the all-inclusive Christ

00:13:33surely

00:13:34one of the things we overcome

00:13:36is the things that

00:13:38distract us from him

00:13:42and we look to the Lord

00:13:44that in his wisdom

00:13:45he will not allow the enemy
