00:00Hi guys, can you look this way please, thank you, straight ahead guys, gentlemen straight ahead, and gentlemen straight ahead
00:09of you please, this way, right here guys, alright guys, alright guys.
00:16Ruffin Trist is really, it's a fantasy about a woman that promises a lot of things and then what happens
00:25to you in life, you get involved in these terrible places that she takes you to, she promises you the
00:33world but you get delivered, you know, bad food, bad air, bad clubs, bad politics, bad everything.
00:42It's a blues fantasy really, Ruffin Trist.
00:51This is an intervention by the way.
00:53Good God, got another one.
00:56Don't look drunk.
00:59Very nice Barry White.
01:03It just happens, I mean, Steve Cropper, a famous guitar player from Booker T, right, and Stax, he said,
01:12to me his favorite song was Beast of Burden because he loved the way the guitars interacted on it.
01:20And so that was a pure accident and pure weaving and the same thing is happening right now in the
01:27Foreign Tongues album, you know.
01:29The studio and the guys get together and lay out a track and an idea and you let it take
01:36off from there, you know.
01:38You can't plan all of this stuff, you kind of just got to follow it and hope you come out
01:44the other end, you know.
01:46Just a little bit too.
01:47Just a little bit longer.
01:51You can't plan all of this stuff out to you, you know.
01:52But I know, I'll never do it.
