00:04I went to this place that serves it cafeteria style.
00:07You get a $1.70 plate of coconut rice, sambal, fried anchovies, cucumber and egg.
00:13And then you can pick your add-ons, so the meat ones were $1.70 each.
00:17I got ayam merah, which is a tomato chicken, ayam rendang and beef rendang.
00:22My plate was so loaded and it added up to $6.80.
00:25Oh, and if you pay $0.30 extra, you can sit in a room with air conditioning, which I did
00:29because it's super humid.
00:31And finally, time to dig in!
00:33Each bite is just so hearty, paired with the fragrant rice and sweet sambal.
00:37My favourite part was the beef rendang.
