00:00Francisca Cort, how was that first date in red?
00:03Yeah, it was really good. It was a really hard day.
00:06The beginning was quite chill, at least for me.
00:09My teammates had to ride a little bit to keep the brakeway in control.
00:13And then the roads along the coast were super hard.
00:19After the sprint, basically, it was just for guests.
00:22How was those last kilometers? Because it was quite steep.
00:25And we saw some riders that struggled.
00:28Also, you at the back a bit, but then you managed to come back.
00:31Yeah, the steep climb after the sprint was super hard.
00:35It had basically two steep sections.
00:38I went really deep after the first one because I kind of thought,
00:42that must be the top.
00:44And then there was the second kicker and I started to struggle.
00:47But luckily, there was a group from behind where I could come back with.
00:52And then the last 10k were basically full gas.
00:56Every kicker, someone attacked.
00:59So, yeah, it was a very hard final.
01:01And tomorrow, another day in red.
01:03Could you expect this at the beginning before the tour started?
01:07No, I actually was sick after Amstel.
01:11Yeah, I knew that some of those stages really suit me.
01:14But then I got a bit sick and then I was like,
01:17I don't know how well I will survive.
01:19And then having a third or second and being in red is definitely over my expectations.
01:25Do you feel that presence of being the leader of the race when you wear it today?
01:29It definitely gives you something extra, I would say.
01:34Yeah.
01:35Also, my team is fully committed to defend the red.
01:38So, yeah, you really want to finish it all for your teammates.
01:42Thank you very much. Enjoy it.
