00:01Tens of billions of euros are being channeled into energy, digital infrastructure and regional connectivity across Asia and the Pacific
00:10as the Asian Development Bank unveils new large-scale investment plans for the region.
00:16The announcements were made during the bank's 59th annual meeting that took place in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
00:23In 2025 amidst large global challenges, ADB provided unprecedented $44 billion in support to the region. This was driven by
00:36over $29 billion in our own resources.
00:39At the center of the plan is a program worth around 65 billion euros aimed at strengthening regional systems and
00:47resilience.
00:48A 46 billion euro initiative will focus on building a Pan-Asia power grid designed to connect renewable energy systems
00:57across borders, improve energy security and reduce emissions.
01:01Uzbekistan is also expanding its cooperation with the bank, positioning itself within this broader investment push.
01:08Kunukecha Bank has been published in the last 12-million dollars of the region's financial assistance.
