Missile interception is one of the most advanced aspects of modern warfare but no system is perfect. Israel uses layered air defence systems including Iron Dome David Sling and Arrow to intercept incoming threats from rockets and ballistic missiles.
In real scenarios interception rates can be very high often reported above 85 to 90 percent depending on the system and type of threat. However when large numbers of missiles are launched at the same time some can still pass through due to system saturation or technical limitations.
