00:06This is the scaling tutorial like this one.
00:09Most people just increase the font size.
00:12But scaling allow you to stretch your text horizontal for a bold cinematic effect without affecting the vertical height.
00:20This is the perfect for resume headers and professional document design.
00:24So for this you need to highlight the specific text you want to scale.
00:29For example in this word Mexico and Cuba.
00:35And click on the home and in the font group you will see that this small arrow.
00:44So in the window that appears click on the advanced tab on the top and look for the scale drop
00:51down menu.
00:53And here is the drop down menu.
00:55And now you can increase the scale to the 200% and select from the list.
01:02And here in the preview you can see the samples as well.
01:06You can also use the spacing to the expanded or you can use the spacing to the condensed.
01:13It's up to you which one do you use it.
01:16So I will be selecting the expanded and here is the position.
01:19You can raise it or lower it but I will be doing that normal position.
01:23And now simple click OK to apply the effect.
01:27And here you can see that.
01:29Unlike increasing the font size scaling stretches the character horizontally without changing their height.
01:35At 200% your text will look twice as wide as normal.
01:39So with this way you can easily stretch text in MS Word.
