00:51I'm Cristina Scabia female singer of lacuna coil our latest record is called sleepless empire and

00:56of course we are on tour to promote it and that's the reason why you're here I'm gonna show you

01:02little bit of what's around first thing first notice how clean how beautiful how bright it is

01:09and luxury two TVs now they're not on but they are at night we have you know movie night a

01:18couple of

01:18nights ago we watched Titanic and then and everybody was crying so that was very metal so what's the

01:24writer the writer is what a band asks to the venue the grocery store the stuff that you want on

01:30the

01:30bus because you have spaces like this in which you can put all the drinks we usually ask for local

01:36beers because we're interested in trying it some monster some fruit some bread and there is also

01:44something very very important that cannot miss on a lacuna coil bus a coffee machine a mocha this

01:53specifically it's an electric one and the rule for lacuna coil is to bring two package each of Italian

02:00coffee some of the coffee is here we transfer it in this one because it's easier but as you can

02:08see

02:08we have a little bit to open Italian coffee some of us are drinking tea but most of us are

02:21drinking coffee

02:22coffee and for these we always buy smaller cups because these are not meant this coffee is not meant to

02:29be you

02:29know just like American coffee like huge but just a small tasty sip this is the place for water at

02:38the

02:38end of every day we put all the water so everyone can be free just to grab one or two

02:43or three for the

02:43bunk and of course we also use it for the coffee machine and tea for whoever needs it looks like

02:51a big

02:52spacey room but when the bus runs of course is half the size so now we have all the space

03:00you can

03:01actually you know break dance and do all the stuff you want but usually closes up in the corridor is

03:06about

03:06this it's okay when you're living but when we stop we have all this place in the world the two

03:12guys

03:12that you see on my left I mean I don't know they are they just jumped on the bus I'm

03:18kidding he is

03:19Richard our drummer he's Maki our bass player and also producer of the band and see something guys say

03:27hey hi guys this is what we do all day long eating donuts and wasting time on the phone eyes

03:36and and I'm the drummer and bartender yeah what happens on these are actually in the night is having

03:44him doing a lot of spritz and drinking after show you know yeah the party after the work yeah so

03:51we

03:52usually have a Campari and Aperol so I can make spritz every night for the guys for us for the

03:57crew for

03:58everyone who want to join and uh yeah and that's basically what you will see in the back the station

04:03where we work actually so you will see in the computer this is more party time party place and the

04:09back is

04:10more working station let's see I'm not sure we still have some Campari or whatever because yesterday

04:16was very good and funny night but yeah we still have some Campari some Aperol in it we don't have

04:24Prosecco we should we maybe have some have some Prosecco in the dressing room so I hope TM gonna bring

04:30some some do you really want to see the fancier part of this bus this is the bathroom but we

04:43also have a shower this is prettier than the one that I have in my house we usually don't use

04:51it we

04:51use showers in the venue because there will not be enough water for us but in case of emergency we

04:58can

04:58have a shower in our bus and the rest is pretty tiny so no problem for short people like me

05:04but

05:04of course for the bigger guys it's a little bit of a deal the bathroom rule no number two no

05:10number

05:10two on the bus coffee is getting ready in the meantime and that's pretty much the the only rule of

05:17course I try to keep it clean no paper yes yeah no paper in the in the busy and that's

05:24pretty much it

05:25yeah drawers so you know just like a cutleries there are some pieces that we're bringing you

05:33know from tour to tour because we're used to to them but this has time to change it guys

05:42let's delete this one and obviously good oil from Italy this is provided by Richard but we always try to

05:49bring like a couple of comfort things you know for food like oil coffee hey we're Italian yeah capisce

05:56this is the fridge fridge and freezer the rules used to be and they still are somehow you write your

06:04name on what's yours but as soon as there are so many people on the road we pretty much eat

06:11the same

06:11things we decided to go groceries to to have like a file on on the computer with a list so

06:19we add what

06:19we want and we do groceries so so we pretty much eat and we save money as well and everybody's

06:25happy

06:26and that's what we have in the fridge I mean the normal stuff that you need for everyday life and

06:32of

06:33course of course we got some monster with us we also have some Gatorade milk some some coca-cola some

06:42some ham and cheese the basics because usually I mean we out we always have pizza after show because

06:50we also have a format which is called a slice by slice in which we judge pizza in every city

06:56and today

06:57we're in Chicago so we're gonna have a dip dish the fridge I think it's empty yeah yay nothing bonks

07:09we sleep here a lot of people are wondering where do you guys sleep and do you do hotels no

07:14this is

07:15actually where we sleep at night we drive at night so we get to the city in which we have

07:20to play the day

07:21after sometimes two days they're all closed but you can take a look into mine I mean I'm warning you

07:29it's pure

07:29chaos now it's I just I just got this in a in a secondhand store but it's sealed but this

07:37will be fun you

07:38know for one evening these are the drum skins because I am painting them every night I'm drawing and everybody

07:45signs them and we sell it at the merch booth I always have to sleep with two pillows don't ask

07:51me why and then you have everything that makes you feel like home you know headphones or whatever

07:57you need for for the night bunk selection we pretty much have the same position in the boss set that

08:05we

08:05have on every tour because we got used to it so on every tour this will be my bunk this

08:10will be

08:11Maki's bunk and each one has his favorite I pick up this one because again I'm pretty sure it's easier

08:18to

08:19to to jump in it and it's easy to make the bed because I need to make the bed every

08:23day well it doesn't look like

08:25but I do and I like to rearrange stuff every day so I need something that it's at my height

08:31very like

08:33unnecessary because I don't really need it but I have to

08:38it's Lilith from Diablo

08:42it's a phone holder but I mean I don't really use it as a phone holder she's just there junk

08:47punks and not on this bus there is our band assistant that works for our company our label

08:58our label our management and she's coming tomorrow so it's free now but it's not the junk bunk no junk

09:05punks on this tour which I miss because we have so much stuff and this is the back lounge two

09:13TVs very clean I love that this bus is new so it smells amazing it doesn't feel like it has

09:22your story which is you know not for everybody I mean to be on tour it's you know sometimes special

09:28um he is Jerry this guy has been gifted to us many many years ago and we adopted him and

09:38it on every tour on every tour is with us and it's been with us forever we got it in

09:43Louisiana many

09:45many many many many years ago so the back lounge just serves more like a workstation like most of the

09:52time Samaki our bass player um works here on on files or just like you know um on some music

10:00but um

10:01I mean everybody that comes first can take this place I mean it's not just Maki's one and sometimes

10:07we hang out here we put all the stuff like all the bags so we can leave the space free

10:14we put them

10:14over there but no not much it's happening in this room it's more in the front where everything happens
