00:00Now we've got the five lights, the sprint in Miami to come, 19 laps, it's lights out and away we
00:05go and this time Charles Leclerc getting a better start against Kimi Antonelli who's getting bogged down once again into
00:11the first corner, Lando Norris leads from Oscar Piastri, then Charles Leclerc, George Russell is now going wheel to wheel
00:17with Kimi Antonelli who gets past him and there is Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton having a great old scrap
00:23going through turn one, Antonelli poor start, Russell nearly had him, he managed to stay ahead.
00:28He's got a bit careful, the young Italian.
00:30He is so bad on Giotto. He moves at the braking, it's unbelievable. We're going to crash.
00:37It's still weird to see that Ferrari rear wing somersault its way back into place.
00:44Sainz ahead now of the Cadillac of Sergio Perez who gets past Liam Lawson who's struggling a bit out there.
00:51That was vintage Sergio Perez down into turn 17.
00:54You can't afford to smash your car up and the race could well be brought forward for tomorrow due to
01:00rain, couldn't it?
01:01So they're going to have to be a little bit careful. That is how bad it looked and somehow he
01:05gets back around the outside of George Russell because Russell was a sort of a clear car length ahead, wasn't
01:12he?
01:12He just managed to get that extra speed while Russell's taking the tighter line. We've got a better view of
01:17it here.
01:19Charles Leclerc, it was a good start from Charles Leclerc but he gets bogged down and now a bit later
01:24onto the brakes, look at Lewis Hamilton around the outside and Max Verstappen as well.
01:27Almost making that move stick before Verstappen squeezes through and that's brilliant, that's a brilliant scrap between Verstappen and Hamilton
01:35there.
01:35Yeah, we've seen that before, haven't we? But somehow, of course, Hamilton passed him somewhere.
01:40Yeah, got him a little bit later on. I think Max got a bit bogged down at the start there.
01:44He did.
01:46George Russell will be very annoyed that he didn't make it. Oh, there was like a real sandwich there, a
01:51Red Bull sandwich, wasn't there?
01:52Yeah.
01:53And Max, quick look in the mirror, always like Fernando Alonso, very aware of what's going on around him.
02:00So Lewis gets a good start, flicks left, that's nice and just watches for the Mercedes that they don't contact.
02:09Yeah, Max.
02:09But that's sort of braille racing, isn't it, that one?
02:12Yeah, it's not rubber, isn't it?
02:13The Mercedes is definitely on the ground.
02:17That's it. Thank you.
02:18That might protect him a tad against Lewis Hamilton, the one who has got the pace out in front, Lando.
02:24There you go.
02:24Looking very cool. Is this George Russell making a move into Turn 17?
02:28Looks like it, doesn't it?
02:29He's decided, I can't wait any longer here.
02:32Lewis is catching me. I need to get an overtake done, and he does.
02:36Russell, up into fourth place, but I said, if you go into Turn 17 and do an overtake,
02:40you might be vulnerable into Turn 1, and that is what George Russell's looking at the moment.
02:45But he's just got enough juice in the battery and in the tank to stay ahead.
02:50Antonelli last year, pole sitter for the sprint here in Miami, finished seventh in the end.
02:54He started on the front row today, and he's now down into fifth.
02:58Verstappen's coming back at Lewis Hamilton, and there is Antonelli ahead of George Russell.
03:03And Verstappen squeezing down the inside on Lewis Hamilton, and they both go off the track.
03:08Yeah, Lewis will be on the radio saying, he forced me off the road, and he went off the road
03:13as well.
03:14He should give the place back, being given a place there.
03:18And this is where Antonelli then steamed back around the outside, and into Turn 11.
03:23We were so busy watching Verstappen and Hamilton squabbling off the racetrack there.
03:28Yeah, the Cadillacs are up in the 16th, and the two Aston Martins ahead of the other Cadillac of Bottas.
03:33And here goes Max Verstappen down the inside at Turn 17, and repasses Lewis Hamilton.
03:39But this time it's on the track, so he's not going to have to give the place back.
03:42Lewis has got to try and earn it.
03:44Whereas Norris and Piastri just controlling it.
03:47We've got a replay here, Crofty.
03:48Take it away.
03:49Esteban Ocon in the Haas, losing part of his car through no fault of his own.
03:53It just flew off in the wind.
03:55Probably more the force.
03:56Looked like a bit of the barge board.
03:58Oh, is it from Behrman?
04:00Or did Behrman actually need to collect the barge board?
04:03Yeah, he did collect it.
04:04I think we're going to have to get a safety car.
04:06They're going to have to clear that away, although it's now off the racing line, critically.
04:11Certain parts of the racetrack.
04:13There's that nose change that Ted predicted.
04:15It's Alex Albon who's come into the pit lane.
04:18He will come out, potentially ahead of Valtteri Bottas.
04:22But that nose change is taking a lot longer than you would expect.
04:25Brett Bottas is a minute behind the race leader, Lando Norris.
04:30And Alex Albon will be slightly longer behind Lando Norris.
04:34Lando Norris, fastest man on track.
04:38Now lapping in the low.
04:401.32s, there's Isaac Hadjar.
04:41Oh, we picked him up late.
04:43And that was a very opportunist move from Isaac Hadjar going through Turn 4.
04:48What a brilliant piece of driving to get past Franco Colopinto.
04:51That was F2 style overtaking.
04:54That was very unorthodox, but very effective.
04:58Smiley Lando Norris, you said at the start of this race, he's going to be grinning from ear to ear
05:03at the end of this.
05:04And that is going to put a smile on Oscar Piastri's face.
05:07Charles Leclerc going too deep at Turn 11.
05:10And that might just have cost him any chance of getting second place here.
05:15He'd have picked up a load of rubbish on his tyres.
05:17As he'll be half a dozen corners, cleaning that up with Charles Leclerc.
05:21And then a glory drive to the line in terms of another victory.
05:2619 laps of a sprint race here at the Hard Rock Stadium.
05:30The Miami International Autodrome.
05:32Lando Norris in what is sprint race 26.
05:35He's going to pick up sprint race victory number four.
05:38Lando Norris crosses the line.
05:40A very comfortable winner here.
05:42And once again, McLaren triumphant with a 1-2 in a sprint in Miami.
05:48Oscar Piastri comes home to take second.
05:50Charles Leclerc third.
05:51Kimi Antonelli, championship leader fourth.
05:54Beating his teammate, George Russell.
05:56Good old scrap they were having earlier on.
05:58Max Verstappen had a battle with Lewis Hamilton.
06:01One out on that one.
06:02He finishes sixth.
06:03Hamilton seventh.
06:04Gasly will take the final points.
06:06Spearman is going to chase now Esteban Ocon all the way to the line.
06:10Carlos Sainz in 14th.
06:12Liam Lawson who struggled early on in 15th.
06:15Here comes Oli Behrman.
06:16Is he going to go last of the late breakers with Esteban Ocon into turn 17?
06:21He's going to try to switch back at the hairpin.
06:24But Esteban Ocon has got that covered.
06:26Hadjar ninth.
06:27Colopinto, Bortoleto.
06:28Ocon finishes 12th.
06:30And then comes Oli Behrman and Carlos Sainz and Liam Lawson.
06:33Sergio Perez has been overtaken by Fernando Alonso down into the hairpin.
06:40Can Alonso stay ahead to the line?
06:43Well done.
06:44Yeah, well done.
06:46Nice win.
06:48Great job.
06:49Let's do it all over again.
06:52Go ahead of Kimi Antonelli in the final standings.
06:55Nice job, Oscar.
06:55Strong P2.
06:57And McLaren won two as well.
07:00We're really happy with that.
07:01Good job.
07:02Yeah, well done, everybody.
07:03Good job.
07:05Nice to see the pace was pretty good, obviously.
07:08I'm sure there's a couple of things to work on.
07:10But nice to be able to hold off everybody else.
07:14So thank you.
07:15See you again this afternoon.
