00:05Turns out the regime who chanted death to America and death to Israel was gifted death from America
00:13and death from Israel. This is not a so-called regime change war, but the regime sure did change
00:23and the world is better off for it. If you kill Americans, if you threaten Americans anywhere
00:34on earth, we will hunt you down without apology and without hesitation, and we will kill you.
00:42Last 30 days, we discreetly brought defensive assets in. Iranian leaders looking up. We're
00:51playing for keeps. Our warfighters have maximum authorities granted personally by the president
00:56and yours truly. Our rules of engagement are bold, precise, and designed to unleash American power,
01:04not shackle it. This was never meant to be a fair fight, and it is not a fair fight. We
01:12are punching
01:12them while they're down, which is exactly how it should be. U.S. and Israeli air power.
01:21Only the United States of America could lead this. Only us. But when you add the Israeli defense
01:28forces, a devastatingly capable force, the combination is sheer destruction for our radical
01:35Islamist Iranian adversaries. They are toast and they know it. We have only just begun to fight
01:56and fight decisively. If you think you've seen something, just wait. The amount of combat power
02:03that's still flowing, that's still coming, that we'll be able to project over Iran is a multiples
02:09of what it currently is right now, when you add up our capabilities and those of the Israeli defense
02:14forces.
02:21The mullahs are desperate and scrambling. Like the terrorist cowards they are, they fire missiles
02:27from schools and hospitals, deliberately targeting innocents because they know their military is
02:36being systematically degraded and annihilated. Iran's neighbors, and in some cases, former allies
02:44in the Gulf, they've abandoned them. And their proxies, Hezbollah, the Houthis, and Hamas,
02:51either broken, ineffective, or on the sidelines. Iran stands alone, and they are badly losing.
03:02Big mistake by the Iranian regime to start targeting its neighbors right away, exposing who they are and
03:07what they're all about, indiscriminate targeting, flailing recklessly at the beginning. I can't say
03:13that we anticipated necessarily that's exactly how they would would react, but we knew it was a
03:19possibility. And I think it was a demonstration of the desperation of that regime then and that
03:24regime now.
03:25Just the bifurcation, just the trend lines that we talked about on our first briefing.
03:31Now, the chairman and I, having just returned from Dover last night, our troops and their families
03:37and the enormous sacrifice that they made is certainly heavy on my mind.
03:43So I'll close with scripture, drawing strength from Psalm 144.
03:49Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle.
03:55He is my loving God and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer, my shield in whom I take refuge.
04:06May the Lord grant unyielding strength and refuge to our warriors, unbreakable protection to
04:14them in our homeland and total victory over those who seek to harm them and amen.
04:21God bless our troops and this mission.
04:24Mr. Chairman, over to you.
04:32Our will, it is unshakable.
04:36Iran's leadership is in no better shape.
04:39Desperate and hiding, they've gone underground, cowering.
04:43That's what rats do.
04:46We know the new so-called not-so-supreme leader is wounded and likely disfigured.
04:53And I will say we have a range of options, up to and including Iran deciding.
04:58Or more fake news from CNN.
05:02Reports that the Trump administration underestimated the Iran war's impact on the Strait of Hormuz.
05:08Patently ridiculous, of course.
05:10For decades, Iran has threatened shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
05:14This is always what they do, hold the Strait hostage.
05:18CNN doesn't think we thought of that.
05:21But it's a fundamentally unserious report.
05:25The sooner David Ellison takes over that network, the better.
05:30And the American people, if you rest assured, we will ensure that our interests are advanced.
05:34The air campaign that we've conducted, that Israel's conducted alongside us, was one for the history books, truly.
05:40And it's because we have a president of the United States that when he sends his warfighters out to fight,
05:44he unties their hands to actually go out and close with and destroy the enemy as viciously as possible from
05:50moment one.
05:51And that's why we see ourselves as part of this negotiation as well.
05:55We negotiate with bombs.
05:57Great students, great students, MITs, a lot of MITs, a lot of guys like this and not.
06:03You see, shot down on a Friday, good Friday, hidden in a cave, a crevice, all of Saturday, and rescued
06:14on Sunday.
06:16Flown out of Iran as the sun was rising on Easter Sunday.
06:21A pilot reborn, all home and accounted for, a nation rejoicing.
06:32A note to the press, to the press corps, to the American media.
06:38As I just can't help but notice the endless stream of garbage, the relentlessly negative coverage,
06:47you cannot resist peddling.
06:49Despite the historic and important success of this effort and the success of our troops.
06:58Sometimes it's hard to figure out what side some of you are actually on.
07:02It's incredibly unpatriotic.
07:05Like an adrenaline rush? Are you scared? Do you feel like you're on?
07:09I know there's a lot of talks.
07:11You saw the, I would call it a silly conference,
07:14uh, in, in Europe last week where they got together and talked about, talking about maybe doing something eventually when
07:21things are done.
07:22Uh, those are not serious efforts yet.
07:25We would welcome that. We would welcome that. We would welcome a serious European effort on that because this is
07:30going to be very important because there's several people who right now in this body are going to be considering
07:35their support.
07:36The president has got himself in America stuck in the quagmire of another war in the Middle East.
07:41He's desperately trying to extricate himself from his own mistakes.
07:45Congressman, you should know better. Shame on you.
07:48Calling this a quagmire two months in.
07:51The effort, what they've undertaken, what they've succeeded, the success on the battlefield that creates strategic opportunities,
07:57the courage of a president to confront a nuclear Iran, and you call it a quagmire, handing propaganda to our
08:02enemies?
08:03Shame on you for that statement.
08:04And statements like that are reckless to our troops.
08:07Don't say I support the troops on one hand and then a two-month mission is a quagmire.
08:11That's a false equivocation. Who are you cheering for here? Who are you pulling for?
08:15Our troops are doing incredible work.
08:17They've done incredible things for the entirety of this mission and achieved incredible battlefield successes.
08:23And you sit there and go on TV for your clickbait about quagmires.
08:28It undermines the mission.
08:29Donald Trump's war with Iran. We've got 14 service.
08:32So any insinuation that I've ever profited other than serving this nation, what I give, what you give, what others
08:39give,
08:40I'm not looking for money. I don't do it for money. I don't do it for profit. I don't do
08:43it for stocks.
08:43And that's part of the reason why I'm able to be effective in this job.
08:46So I'd like to hear you say, did you, through your broker at Morgan Stanley or otherwise,
08:52seek to invest in any defense-related funds right before Trump started the Iran war?
09:00I'll give it to you as a big, fat negative.
