00:00First, before I get to the team, it's always an honor to play against Campasso.
00:05He's been my favorite player since coming into Europe.
00:08And then he has a close relationship with our strength coach as well as I do.
00:13So we kind of connected the first time we played and we were able to swap jerseys.
00:17And he gave me a bit of advice and kind of took me under his wing in a sense.
00:23So it's always an honor to play against him, to compete against him.
00:28And an entire organization, Real Madrid, it's a very prestigious, historic, great organization there.
00:36They have a lot of talent.
00:39So, yeah, but we also understand that they do have the yearly playoffs, which is very important.
00:43So we have to continue to understand that we have to play at our pace, which is fast together.
00:49We also understand when to control the game and be confident within our abilities.
00:54I mean, we've been making history thus far.
00:57So we have to continue to have confidence within that.
01:00And to beat a team like Real Madrid, you have to have confidence.
01:04So and I think we do.
01:05We have the locker room.
01:06We trust in one another.
01:07Like I said, we trust in our individual abilities.
01:10And we have a great coaching staff who always puts together a great plan.
01:13So we just need to continue to execute that.
01:16Well, first and foremost, they have tremendous size.
01:19I mean, they have NBA size, so you can't give them second, third, fourth opportunities.
01:25I mean, they already have great qualities enough to make their first chance, let alone giving them another chance or
01:31two each and every possession.
01:32So we got to we got to fight hard on the glass, contest shots, fight hard.
01:36You got to get on run.
01:37That's our game.
01:38That's who we first is always an honor to be on a list with guys like that.
01:41But I have to factor, obviously, first and foremost, I have an unbelievable team and coaching staff.
01:49Like I said, we we have a coaching staff headed by Seto that puts us all in positions to be
01:54successful.
01:54And he really does that with me, put me in position, position to be successful, play to my strengths.
01:59And then my teammates make my job so much easier on both ends of the court.
02:03I mean, offensively, like I said, they're confident within themselves and their ability.
02:08Defensively, you got guys like Howie, Jonah, countless others who take on some a lot of times the other team's
02:15best player, which allows me to save a little more energy.
02:18So I most definitely couldn't do it without them.
02:21And then accumulation just continue to grow every day, working on my craft, staying disciplined off the court.
02:28I'm honestly and I and I say this very truthfully, I honestly don't know yet.
02:35I think I've been, you know, you know, my college coach used to say I always kind of go back
02:42to what he used to say, because he has such a profound impact on my life.
02:45But he used to say, if you just be where your feet are, you look up and you you'll find
02:49yourself in some cool situations.
02:52And that's just kind of where I've been all year.
02:54And now I look up and we're third in ACB and, you know, we're having a historic season.
03:00And that's just because I've been having my feet where my head, where my feet are.
03:05So that's kind of been my mindset.
03:07But I do have an understanding of teams like to build out their roster for next year.
03:12I mean, you know, obviously there's there's honesty and everyone knows that.
03:17So but yes, a combination.
03:18I let my representation kind of handle that.
03:20But me, I've just been in right where my feet are.
03:23It's nothing to kind of announce right now.
03:25Well, for sure, I mean, our first and foremost goal needs to continue to be our approach each and every
03:31day, continue to stay taking one game at a time, one practice at a time.
03:38But we also I said this for I don't know how to be excited for third place.
03:44You know, I mean, it's from a humble standpoint.
03:47I work to be first place.
03:48So I live my life and I discipline myself not to be happy with third place.
03:53Now, I am happy that the fans get to enjoy this success.
03:56But we as a ball club has to have the utmost ambition.
04:01And if you shoot for the stars and you land at the clouds, good.
04:04But if you aim for the clouds, you're probably going to hit your head on the roof.
04:07So we have to continue to keep our ambition level high.
04:11And we have the quality and the character in that locker room to accomplish a championship.
04:15We just have to continue to strive for it.
