00:05Hi, I'm Tara. I'm a senior fashion and social editor at Who It Wear and I actually went to an
00:09early preview of the Met Gala exhibition and have some fun things to share.
00:12So the exhibition itself is called Costume Art and it will feature different depictions of the dressed body.
00:17There will be different sections from the pregnant body to the aging body to the classical body to the naked
00:21body.
00:21And something that will make this exhibit a little bit different than others is that there will be a large
00:25emphasis on art that is displayed alongside the clothing itself.
00:28Instead of just only featuring clothing and the dresses that I showed were some of them that will definitely be
00:33at the exhibit, including this one, which is a very literal and fun take.
00:36And as many of us know by now, the dress code is not the exact exhibition theme.
00:41So the dress code is fashion is art. It is obviously meant to complement the exhibit.
00:44And this makes sense because obviously, as mentioned, there's a large emphasis that artwork will be on display alongside costumes
00:50and clothing in the exhibit.
00:51The museum also released a press release with a lot of the co-chairs and chairs of the Met Gala
00:56exhibit, which gives us a sneak peek at the guest list,
00:58which is never revealed before the gala itself.
01:01Usually we kind of start to hear about people coming in the days leading up, but some people that we
01:05know will be there.
01:06Notable names, Beyonce, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, Zoe Kravitz, Alex Kinsani, Doja Cat, and Sabrina Carpenter.
