00:00And I sang Signed Seed Delivered, Stevie Wonder, and from that day I was in the band.
00:05And it was kind of just a done deal. It was, yeah, it was odd.
00:10And that was interesting. We were getting to know each other.
00:13We were gelling in a way, but it was quite obvious that one of the girls wasn't as driven as
00:21the rest of us.
00:22And that just wasn't going to cut it for us, because the other four, we knew what we wanted to
00:27do.
00:28And that's when we were introduced to Emma through a vocal coach we were working with.
00:33And as soon as we met her, it was like, that's it.
00:36Because there's something about, and you will, you know this, there's something about the dynamic of the Spice Girls.
00:42When we're in a room together, it's electric. You can't quite describe it.
00:47It still happens to this day. It's not very often we get in a room together, all five of us.
00:51But there is something magical about those five personalities.
00:56And there's something about the energy of a crowd like that, and then being all alone, which is really lonely.
01:05It looks like a...
01:06Yeah, you crash down. And I was single for a lot of this time as well.
01:10Like, you know, of course I had support from friends and from family, but I didn't have that other.
01:14You know, that would have shared my bed, my hotel room, you know.
01:18So it became very lonely at times.
01:21So yeah, so it was hard when I was out there on my own, because I was trying to figure
01:25out who I was.
01:25And also, you know, you feel like everybody wants the Spice Girls.
01:30So everything you do is semi-apologetic, because you think, well I know you don't want me, you want all
01:36of us.
01:36You know, so it's really hard to recalibrate who you are and who you want to be.
01:42Will you be at Glastonbury in two years' time?
01:44Oh, well, I hope. So that's the plan. Let's manifest.
01:49I think if there is one place I think everybody would love to see, the five of you, Rena, would
01:55be Glastonbury.
01:56Absolutely. It would be the pinnacle. It's a bucket list.
01:59I think Spice Girls, Pyramid Stage. I like to think that that will happen at some point.
02:04Wouldn't that be amazing?
02:05It would be incredible.
02:06When the time is right, as we like to say.
02:09I'm literally very strongly manifesting this happening.
02:15So
02:15you
