00:05Well, being the sister of Malaika, well, the only thing it does for me is that all my
00:12co-stars are crazy about her, man.
00:13You know, the first thing they come and tell me is like, Malaika, oh my God, I think she's
00:17totally hot or whatever.
00:20So that kind of breaks the ice.
00:23But professional front, I think Malaika kind of helps me so much in terms of my makeup
00:27and my look and she's always advising me in that respect.
00:31And she always tells me to be a thoroughbred professional, to be dedicated towards my job.
00:36She's very interested in whatever I do.
00:38As soon as I shoot a song, she'll come and watch it and she'll tell me exactly how I've
00:42fared or how I've not fared.
00:44And she's like my true critic, you know, and she's very nice to have around.
00:49She encourages me a lot.
00:51And yeah, I couldn't have asked for a better sister.
00:58Well, the overall experience of KDKP has been extremely enlightening.
01:04It's taught me a lot.
01:06It's taught me a lot.
01:07It's taught me so many things about the industry, you know, good, some bad.
01:14And it's been really nice.
01:16It's been a beautiful, beautiful journey, truly.
01:18Like, just like it was a journey love story for me as a person, for me as an actress,
01:22for me as a newcomer, graduating into being not a newcomer, into being an actress who will
01:28be seen a lot.
01:30It's been a good journey even for me.
01:32And so I just have so many people to thank for that, you know.
01:35I've kind of discovered myself through the making of KDKP.
01:39So you better go watch it.
01:40Can you share us any more incidents if you find any funny and remembrance behind the scenes?
01:46Any funny incidents?
01:49Yeah, there were so many since it was my first film, you know.
01:52So, what was a funny incident?
01:56What was a funny incident?
01:58Well, what comes to mind, which I think I've said so many times was my first day of shooting.
02:04We were shooting a song in the evening and it was a song where I had to get kind of
02:08cozy
02:08with Fardeen and I was feeling really conscious because the first time I was kind of getting
02:14comfortable of the idea of like so many people watching us and we were rushing against time
02:19and I had to get my shot correct and yet I was a little uncomfortable of doing a little intimate
02:24move that my choreographer had given me, but I wanted to do it at the same time.
02:29And so I was like working against so many things and I was not getting it correct.
02:33And, you know, I got a little nervous and I just burst out crying.
02:37And that's where everyone was really sweet with me.
02:39Fardeen was like, oh, no, no, no.
02:40What happened?
02:41Why is she crying?
02:42And changed the whole thing.
02:44We'll do this tomorrow.
02:45We don't have to do it today.
02:46And then he came and gave me like a good par talk or good encouraging talk at the side
02:50and how I should not get nervous.
02:52And so that was really sweet.
02:54We kind of, that's where we kind of broke the ice, you know, as two individuals on the
02:59first day itself, because that was really sweet because everyone kind of fussed over
03:05me and I felt really sweet.
03:08I felt really special at that moment.
03:10What is important about the USP of the film?
03:14Well, I think the USP of the film is, it's a sweet love story.
03:20You know, I mean, it's a very, it's a kind of, it's a kind of story that every person
03:26relates to at some point or the other.
03:28It's not a story where there's like fighting and villains.
03:33It's a very sweet, clean love story.
03:35Clean love story.
03:36That's I think the USP of the film.
03:38And of course, Fardeel and me.
03:39What are the hopes?
03:42Pardon me?
03:43What are the hopes?
03:44Well, my hopes for the film is just that it does well, definitely.
03:48And I cannot sit here in this chair and predict whether it's going to be a hit or a miss.
03:52But I just hope we are all appreciated for whatever we've put into the making of the film.
03:59And yeah, I mean, go watch the film with an open mind.
04:03Don't go and watch it to badger us.
04:06Watch it objectively.
04:08Watch it in terms of seeing me as a newcomer who's on screen for the first time.
04:14And just better like the film.
04:16Otherwise, it's going to be bad for you all.
04:18Keep that in mind.
04:21Thank you very much.
