Desde hace siete años, esta organización enfrenta la irresponsabilidad y la informalidad que han condenado a los "minipigs" al abandono y la negligencia. Su misión es rescatar, recuperar y educar para que estos animales reciban el cuidado responsable que merecen.

00:00People saw this in social media and said,
00:01hey, how beautiful is the minipip.
00:03Of course, when the famous person took the photo
00:05by raising the dog,
00:06they were born of a month or a month of birth.
00:09So the people left with that image.
00:11They said, I want a minipip because it's a different mascot.
00:14A human like it's different.
00:16And they didn't know what they were going to do.
00:23We are the Minio in Colombia.
00:26We were born around 2017
00:28as an initiative
00:30by some teachers of cerds,
00:32professionals,
00:33who worked with cerds,
00:36veterinarians or technicians.
00:37We also tried to include some criadores
00:40with the idea
00:40of having these animals
00:42more responsible.
00:44We dedicated to education
00:46and taught the teachers
00:48how to get them well.
00:49Alimentation,
00:51care of the skin,
00:52use of the harnesses,
00:54vaccines,
00:55we talked about all the issues.
00:56We also dedicated the rescue,
00:58rehabilitation,
01:00and reubication
01:00of these animals in the country.
01:03About 15 years ago,
01:05we reached the first
01:07minipip to Colombia
01:08especially for interactive animals
01:10and those vietnamese,
01:12which are of the minipip,
01:13the largest minipip.
01:15And between 7 and 10 years,
01:17we started,
01:18especially in the cafeteria,
01:20to promote minipip
01:22with other types of species.
01:25Some famous people
01:26were in this
01:27as well,
01:28they showed up their photos
01:29and so they began to
01:31massify the issue
01:32of the minipip.
01:35The animals,
01:36quite responsible,
01:37they said
01:38they didn't grow more,
01:40they are very easy to have,
01:42they don't need vaccines
01:43or any parasitization.
01:44The food is very simple,
01:46you can give them
01:47you can give them
01:48you can give them
01:49to the dogs that they are totally bad,
01:51and the people
01:51took them to the homes
01:52and thought it was simple.
01:54They faced the reality
01:56that animals
01:57are omnipers,
01:58that with a restrictive diet
01:59that is adequate
02:00will have a lot of problems,
02:02and that the animals
02:03grow up.
02:21The first thing we need to break, or the biggest thing, is the issue of size.
02:26The most important thing is that the cerds grow.
02:28They are mini for their species, but not mini because they are like mini-peak species.
02:32A mini-peak can be between the 35 and 100 kg,
02:35being a healthy animal, and can have an altitude of 60 cm to the cross.
02:41To have a mini-peak, it varies a lot in the condition in which you have it.
02:45If you have it in the interior or in the exterior, which is how we are here.
02:50The cerds are very active animals.
02:52They walk, walk and eat for 12-14 hours a day.
02:57When they live in a campground space, they are very active.
02:59They all the time remain doing that activity.
03:03But when they live in closed spaces, they eat, and the rest of the day, what do you want to
03:06do?
03:07So they become destructive, aggressive, and so on.
03:10It is important to bear in mind, to comply with a health plan,
03:13the vaccines, the disparities.
03:14As well as with dogs and dogs, the prevention is the key of the entire tenancy.
03:20In them, it is important to make a cut of the calves.
03:23The calves grow throughout the life of the males.
03:25This is mainly mediated by the testosterone.
03:28This procedure should always be done under anesthesia,
03:31using the appropriate tools.
03:33The goal is to avoid that our cerds, in convivial with us,
03:36it is not only because the cerds are aggressive,
03:39but in simple interactions such as headhands,
03:42with this outside, they can cut us and send us to urges.
03:45What are the most common cases?
03:49The most common cases are the dietary restrictions.
03:54The cerds have an insensible curiosity and a natural behavior.
03:59They all explore the world with the truffle and with the mouth.
04:03So, these animals in apartments, in reduced spaces,
04:07what do they find?
04:08In the kitchen, in the fridge, they learn to buy the fridge,
04:10in the fridge, in the fridge, in the fridge,
04:12they are extremely intelligent.
04:13So, they eat a lot.
04:15Everything that happens to you, they have eaten.
04:17And then they come with those dietary restrictions
04:20that can be simple.
04:21For example, something that you can treat clinically
04:24as things that should happen to a surgical point,
04:27or some that are, let's say, much more serious,
04:30like one that we had in December,
04:32which consumed powder and died.
04:43What else can be registered with the dog?
04:51If you have a campestive space,
04:55that adoption it,
04:55that no buy it.
04:57First, because the person who sells it
04:59won't pay the rules
05:01to apply the regulations.
05:02And it will pay you the value of it,
05:04that can seem very economical,
05:06you will have to spend more money
05:07putting the dog on the day in the normative,
05:10you have to sterilize it, vaccinate it,
05:13parasitate it, put the microchip,
05:15that's what it says in the normative,
05:16so they will have higher costs.
05:17If they adopt it with us,
05:20it will be the dog that we are going to give it on the day
05:23and it will not have a additional cost.
05:25Basically, we are sharing our networks
05:27so that this can reach the people
05:30who have the space and can receive the dog.
05:33That's one.
05:34Two, doing this kind of content,
05:37we are concerned about these topics
05:40because here we are going to reach a lot of people
05:42who suddenly have the idea in the head of having a dog,
05:45but they will know how complex it is
05:47and they will not do it
05:48and they will not bring a dog to their lives to suffer.
05:52Because a dog in a apartment, they suffer.
05:54They are very intelligent animals,
05:55and they are locked down,
05:55it's like a human being in a prison, basically.
06:06tell you about how the hell it is,
06:13Don't look for me,
