00:31among the European countries attending. The event comes at a timely moment as global demand
00:37for oil and natural gas has surged in the wake of the US-led war against Iran and the
00:43closure of the Strait of Hummers. Hoekstra also called for a doubling of energy efficiency,
00:48a tripling of renewables by 2030, and more electrification. He also said that the annual
00:55United Nations COP climate meetings were not moving fast and far enough.
