00:00For us, one of the top priorities is developing local talent.
00:03We want strong, highly skilled professionals here in Azerbaijan,
00:08not relying on external resources.
00:10The center is designed to train up to 3,000 flight crew members
00:15and around 30 air traffic controllers every year,
00:19and we see potential to grow even further.
00:23What is the future of aviation?
00:29Surely, aviation is constantly evolving.
00:32New technologies, new procedures, higher safety centers.
00:37So learning in this field never really stops.
00:40The idea was quite simple.
00:42We wanted to create a modern training club that meets international standards
00:46and really prepares aviation professionals for real-life situations.
00:50The center is based at the National Aviation Academy,
00:52which allows us to bring education and training together in one place.
00:56Actually, simulation is really at the core of how we train people today.
01:01It allows students to experience real-life scenarios in a completely safe environment.
01:08They can make decisions, learn from mistakes,
01:10and repeat situations as many times as needed.
01:15Well, in my opinion, these new simulators,
01:18they give you a great opportunity
01:20to get a much better understanding of how aircraft flies about its systems.
01:25Because during the lessons, what we get is a theoretical knowledge.
01:28And I don't think there's any better way to get to understand your knowledge
01:32rather than these simulators.
01:38We have totally partnership with 39 countries.
01:43Within this framework, we are organizing trainings for airlines and aviation companies
01:50and training organizations.
01:53We have totally eight full-flight simulators.
01:55This includes Boeing 757767, Airbus A320, Embraer E190, Boeing 787, and Boeing 777 full-flight simulators.
02:09By building these capabilities inside the country, we reduce dependence on external training
02:14and at the same time raise the overall standard of our aviation sector.
02:20All programs are aligned with ICAO and the YASA standards.
02:23So our specialists are trained to operate at the highest international level.
02:32Well, after I finish my training at National Aviation Academy,
02:35I am planning to pursue a career of civil aviation pilot in Azerbaijan,
02:39particularly in Azerbaijan Airlines.
02:41But besides just being a pilot, I'm also planning to become a specialist,
02:45a professional which will make a positive contribution to the aviation of Azerbaijan.
