00:00We have the perfect plan to celebrate the diversity near Parkway in Bogotá.
00:05In fact, it is a place that you themselves recommended in a video where we talked about the lack of
00:10bares and cultural houses for lesbian and queer women. It is Libres y Visibles,
00:15a lesbian house that remains in the barrio La Soledad, in the local Teusaquillo.
00:21We visited the space to know their proposals and this was what their creators told us.
00:26This space is the dream of three lesbianas that have been camellating many years to the feminists
00:31from many trenches and that have decided to do it from the lesbian and that is also materialized in this
00:38cultural house that is here in Teusaquillo La Soledad, in the two quarters of the Parkway.
00:44This is a space where we join the popular pedagogy, the conspiracy around art.
00:51We have three years ago we were wondering about when the rights of lesbianas,
00:57when the spaces of lesbianas, when the spaces of lesbianas, when we have a safe space in which we can
01:02conspirate, speak, speak, and be free and be visible women, women, women, women, women,
01:08women, women, women, women and women. And from that is where we have a little bit of this
01:12point of view that we have done for more than 17 years.
01:18In Colombia, it is the first house of lesbian women open to the public.
01:23Obviously, it is a history story that we want to keep keeping.
01:26It has been possible also not only for the three, but for all the lesbianas that have joined
01:31and have been able to conspirate in this house during these two years.
01:34We know that it is a necessary space because very few spaces are directed exclusively to the
01:39women and lesbianas. We have always been there, in the last of the agenda, even the feminists,
01:45and we think that our political agenda is centered in the women and women, because we also believe that it
01:54is important
01:54to question the heterosexuality obligatory, because we understand this as a political regime,
02:00not necessarily a decision or an attack necessarily to the women who are heterosexuals. Of course
02:09that no, but we believe that the heterosexuality obligatory makes that many of the discriminations
02:15and violences that we live with, the lesbianas, remain in history.
02:19Within the things that we do, we promote the circular economy between us, we create a lesbian market
02:25lesbo-feminist, once a month. We also do a frequent, permanent intercambio of saberes.
02:32We believe that we have that the hegemonia of knowledge, the universities, the popular
02:37knowledge of all of us are infinite, powerful, and so legítimos, that we do that we do
02:43in a permanent intercambio of saberes. One of them is, for example, in the conversations
02:47that we offer. We also do a lot of experiences, there are different experiences, we do a lot of
02:55the guests, we do a lot of experience. We do different experiences, we do schools of
02:58political, music, artistic, we do a lot of things that we call like Hazzlo Tú Misma,
03:05are wonderful, where the idea is to interact with saberes andLet's way of
03:09living in this hostile world and masculine world, so between us, how can we learn ourselves
03:16to put a tutel, a petition, to create content for our social networks, to get rid of the
03:23bike, to get rid of the bike, to get rid of the duch, so that kind of intercambios of
03:27saberes we also want to promote, among many other things, we also apostate to the art
03:32and culture in a way transversal, so we do workshops, musicals, jams, concerts,
03:38concertos, musicals, tardes of freestyle, spirales of freestyle, so, well, there are also
03:45learning between all of them.
03:46All the details are found on the Instagram of the house, where you can also find the
03:50program for their fiestas, cine forums, markets and so on. And if you have any other recommendations
03:56with places to celebrate diversity, leave us in the comments.
