00:39although I feel that for you the preparation is not only physical, but also for the participants, and I want
00:44you to talk a little bit about that.
00:45Yes, the preparation of the desafio is curious because, let's say, a few months before we started the day one
00:54of the recording,
00:55it seemed like it was physical, but I see it in a different way, or at least at the time,
01:02or at these years, I have started to see it in a different way.
01:04And it is, I am in accordance with what is being an athlete, for when I arrive here in the
01:13competition,
01:14like to be totally in that mentality of the athlete of high rendition.
01:19I do it by the mentality and the strength that we have to do it, it is like a personal
01:27topic.
01:27I say, if the athletes can do it, if the athletes can do it, if the athletes can do it,

01:32Well, the desafio exige that one has a memory to prove everything, because although we recorded before we recorded it,

01:51What do you see this version of the desafio that has been 20 years old?
01:55Well, as you saw in the first episode, I brought this majestuous test with a crue, with an arm of

02:01and the season in general will have that, will have surprises at the level of pruebas,
02:08new things, new elements, but also the visit of many Colombians.
02:13We did this year two convocations, one for all those with a lot of muscles and good physical state,
02:21and a convocation for all those televidentes that always from the house, sitting on the sofa,
02:28critican and say, no, but why not?
02:29Pase by there, but go that way.
02:31Well, today, in this season, we are inviting them to come and live the experience of the desafio complete.
02:40They are going to compete, they are going to live with them, they are going to go to Playa Baja
02:45if they are going to touch,
02:45they are going to suffer the charges.
02:47So, we are celebrating these 20 years with our televidentes, that without them, we would not be able to do
02:54anything.
02:55How do you remember that experience in the desafio 2005 and what is different from you to the 2016?
03:01Well, in 2005, the first, there were no many challenges in the second, so you really didn't know how the
03:10tests were or how it would be,
03:11you only had the guide the first, and it was very different.
03:15So, it was really a challenge, we didn't know what we were going to have.
03:19So, everything was more, I feel like it was more crude, more drastic, it was in Cabo Tiburón.
03:26In that moment, the desafios duraban a lot of time, now they duran like two months, two months and a
03:30half,
03:31but in that moment, it was four months, like I said, at the end it was four months, so it
03:35was very hard.
03:36And, like that, I was very small, so I didn't even know what to expect,
03:42I didn't know what to expect, I didn't know what to expect, but I really never thought I was going
03:46to win.
03:46What do you think has been the magic of the desafio through the years?
03:50Why is it still happening after two decades?
03:53Well, first of all, because it's a format that is very well designed, it has everything,
03:59it has passion, it has conflict, it has participants, like I said,
04:06there are some who take the most beautiful ones, others take the most demons,
04:09the being on different beaches, the beach, the media, the colors,
04:13the colors of the tests, of how it is filmed, it's very nice, it's very nice to see it,
04:21it's very nice to see the human being competing and really trying to survive.
04:28Es que uno vive y gana con ellos y llora con ellos y sufre con ellos.
04:34¿Qué opinas de estos participantes que tenemos en esta edición, lo que has podido interactuar con ellos como así?
04:39Sí, la verdad, me encanta que todos son súper diferentes, tienen profesiones muy diferentes,
04:45como que la diversidad también que se ve en Colombia, en color, en altura, en millones de cosas,
04:52con estos participantes me ha encantado, entonces como que poder conocer a cada persona es un mundo
04:56y ver que son tan talentosos, que se han preparado tanto, que muchos llevan intentando estar en el desafío
05:01por mucho tiempo y que ahora se les cumplió como el sueño y que de verdad lo están viviendo con
05:05toda.
