00:08The area is quite complex because the terrain has many crashes.
00:15We have crashes where approximately 50 meters can be.
00:19If one of the people who is working there, trying to get off the fire,
00:24it can fall with quite terrible consequences.
00:47Marvin!
00:50Marvin!
00:57Marvin!
01:01Marvin!
01:07When we arrive, obviously, on the flames, you can feel the radiation.
01:15But, with the evening, it also feels the cold.
01:19It's quite cold in the morning.
01:24I think sometimes our own eyes talk about how we've passed this morning.
01:28But we're prepared for this.
01:31We already have something here in San Francisco.
01:34Yes, there is water, but a little bit.
01:39The moment that they activate for the fire is the adrenaline that we feel.
01:47We have a lot of desire to go to work.
01:50And on the other hand, we feel a lot of sadness
01:53to know how our environment is destroying.
02:02We think about animals, all the animals in the risk that they are running.
02:08And really, it feels hard.
02:12But really, we do it with the best of the best of the best,
02:15with the best attitude,
02:17so that everything goes well and we can solve this problem.
02:20.
02:28In the moment, there are two fires.
02:34One that is the La Quebrada Vieja.
02:36And this one of the Cerro del Cable.
02:38But then there are other fires in the north,
02:41like in the city of Bolívar and in the south side.
03:10Normally, for us to extinguish the fires,
03:14the water is used as a main resource.
03:18The focus is not calculated.
03:19It is controlled by one side and the other side.
03:23It is constant that there is a constant water.
03:27For forest fires, due to the terrain and the distance
03:34that this type of fire can be presented,
03:37it deserves another type of tools and equipment.
03:40So, we use manual tools.
03:43We defend the identity of the fire,
03:45because if we manage to control the fire
03:48and we reach the point where it needs to be.
03:50Being a bomber in Bogotá is something,
03:54on the one hand, it is very pleasant.
03:56It is a profession that we love.
03:59Being a bomber is something of heart,
04:00something that we carry in our blood.
04:05Okay, ready?
04:09If you want that,
04:10let us know and call it.
04:11Don't worry!
04:13Don't worry!
04:13If you want, let us do it again.
04:26Don't worry!
