00:00In this edition of the Marcha del Orgullo LGBTIQ+, we decided to go to the streets and look for
00:06the parents, parents and families that go to march.
00:08This was what we told you about.
00:19They are not different people, they are special people and have incredible qualities.
00:25What happens is that I think the impact is in a different way that we all need to understand and
00:31we need to understand and love them as they are.
00:33Because we believe that the right of human beings to exist, regardless of their beliefs,
00:40the decisions they take around the affective, is super important to guarantee it in the society.
00:47We support my sister, since we have four years ago,
00:49we do it and we have insisted on them in the focus of inclusion,
00:56that love is free, is beautiful, is like the arco iris.
00:59For the freedom of opinion, for their freedom of expression,
01:03for their rights to the free personality.
01:09How are families, in fact, are diverse?
01:11It is to say, in the configuration of families,
01:14it is to say 50 years old, the studies are saying,
01:17what important is the legal recognition.
01:19And since the year 2007, the court said that there are many families in Colombia
01:23and the report found in 2003.
01:27What is important to tell us that the tolerance of families are diverse?
01:32Because mom is not only the name, but also the support in all the things that they say.
01:39Because it is a way that they feel part of our society and not feel discriminated.
01:47And if we as family discriminated, what can we expect for the other people?
01:50So we as family, we need to give the support, trans, gay, homosexual, whatever, we need to give the support.
01:59For that they grow in an environment like this and that later they don't see anything strange.
02:06Because there is a lot of people who at the moment don't have that support.
02:10And they have to be in the closet because they don't have their support.
02:17We all need to have a mom like mine.
02:20I feel very proud of that she is my mom.
02:22And that today I have a day where I feel proud of who I am.
02:26And that I don't want to go to the streets because I have the support of them.
