00:00If you have heard about the supposed orcas assassinations that are shunned barcos in Spain,
00:04a manada of orcas attacked an embarcation in the stretch of Gibraltar last May 17.
00:08Since the year 2020, there have been more than 500 encounters between orcas and barcos,
00:12where animals manipulate and even break the embarcation.
00:15Alfredo López is a Spanish biologist who has dedicated his life to study the marine marine animals and the orcas
00:20ibéricas.
00:21López said to the social media that these orcas are actually attacking the barcos,
00:24until the point that they have shunned four of them.
00:26But at the moment, no one has registered a single death of a human being by these supposed attacks.
00:31But the biologist teme that after the death of a human being, people begin to kill indiscriminate to these animals,
00:37as if all the orcas were the culpables of wanting to end up with people to their surroundings.
00:40López explained a lot of things to the social media.
00:42First, these animals, which they call from erroneous, ballenas assassins,
00:46are not ballenas and neither are assassins.
00:48These marine animals are actually part of the family of the delfines and are quite pacific in their way to
00:53act.
00:53The biologist affirms that there are two hypotheses to explain this behavior.
00:57The first one is that it is only a game developed by the orcas juveniles,
00:59which they enjoy watching the movement of the car or the motor of the bar.
01:03The second hypothesis is that a mother of a horse was lastimated by a horse,
01:07and then developed this behavior as a defense mechanism to protect others.
01:11And his children began to imitate it.
01:12Alfredo López was quite enfatical in clarifying that these are not called attacks,
01:17but like interactions.
01:18And these interactions are only hurting the ships of the navigators,
01:22but these orcas are not trying to harm the human beings.
01:25For anything.
01:26Then the dado time.
