00:22You
00:24Yes
00:47It's a wonderful feeling, it's a great feeling that you've got an acceptance of the audience
00:55which you've naturally started off wanting to achieve that and it's very humbling
01:03and at the same time, it's a very satisfying feeling that one has found the acceptance.
01:10What was the response in the theater? What was the response of the public?
01:14First day, I'll tell you, the first day when we went to watch the reaction, audience reaction,
01:19the first day it released, first we went off to Shan.
01:21So in Shan, there was around 50% audience, considering our kind of film and with new people,
01:28we were decent with the audience. We walked in, the whole gang was there and we saw the reaction,
01:35we said, nice, good man, come on, let's go.
01:39Cut to we go to Galaxy, we saw the reaction again, that was also around 60% odd collection was
01:46there.
01:46So you're like, good, yeah, this is happening, decent. Cut to we go to City Light.
01:52That, by the time we reached City Light, I think it was a 3-2-6 show and the first
01:56stuff was going on
01:57and the people were going crazy about it. I mean, we were expecting people to react at certain points,
02:03but not the way they were reacting. They were literally, you know, laughing and falling out of
02:07the seats almost, so to say. And it was absolutely unbelievable, the kind of reaction we got.
02:13And it was almost 80% audience and the way they were reacting was tremendous.
02:20At the time of the interval, we were sitting in the balcony, the manager asked us,
02:23we just waved out to the guys in the stall. So, we went and we just waved out to the
02:28guys.
02:30And the kind of, they all went, what's happening? What's happening? We said, we're coming down.
02:35The manager said, let's go. Because suddenly, they were all like up in their seats.
02:38By the time we got down to the stall, on the way to the balcony, all the steps were filled.
02:44And that was one feeling of actually first time getting mobbed, which was a wonderful feeling.
02:48It was, I mean, finally everyone was looking for recognition and acceptance from the crowd and the
02:53kind of love they were showering was totally overwhelming. And we met all of them and just
02:58went up to the front and thanked them all and got out of there. And we were like, we were
03:03like,
03:03we were very, very happy. Almost tears in eyes, all of us, we were like, oh gosh, this is badly
03:10needed.
03:10And we got it. And then we went on to Metro from there. And Metro was also equally wonderful,
03:17the response. And Chandaraji with his experience was like, I mean, sorry, Chandaraji with his experience
03:23was like, if this is what the reaction is, then super. I mean, I think we are set for a
03:29good time now.
03:30Did Toronto particular scene, which they liked about you in the film?
03:35Family and friends, I think more or less, the feedback that I got was the one scene when I'm
03:40trying to put out Rhea in the final scene where I, I suddenly at the top of the cliff and
03:47I get to
03:47know that my girlfriend is having an affair with someone else and I scream out and I run up and
03:51all that over dramatic scene that we had hatched together. I think maximum reaction one has got
03:58from that. Everyone seems to have loved that part. So, and also from the songs, I think, yeah,
04:04we had liked Mohabbath a lot. Excuse me though, of course, it was all over the channel. So most of
04:10them had seen most of it. But Mohabbath, Mohabbath, Mohabbath Ho Na Jai, that song everyone loved
04:16also because they felt that it was very much in the spirit of the film. We suddenly did not break
04:21away from the spirit of the film as in suddenly this regular sing and song sequence happening. But
04:26it was with the characters, how these characters are madcaps, even otherwise, while singing their,
04:31doing their romantic duets also, their, their own crazy self. So that worked very well with the
04:35spirit of the film. So that also one got a lot of appreciation for.
04:39What have you seen your pose as girls?
04:42Pose as girls? Yeah, everyone thought that my first entry, I mean, not first entry, but my entry
04:48when all these girls are by the campfire and I walk in, they thought that I am looking like a
04:52really
04:53hot chick. I think they, but they liked the part. They thought that I pulled it off pretty well.
04:59And they are happy, I guess. What's forthcoming?
05:03Forthcoming, as of now, I have only Excuse Me on hand, which is Chandra Ji's Next. That's the
05:07sequel to Style. We are launching it on Feb 27th. And besides that, there are a couple of talks
05:13happening. Nothing concrete as of yet. What kind of role you mean excuse me? Is it the same thing?
05:17Yeah, it's, it's, it carries on from where these boys have finished in the, in style. And what happens
05:24with these boys further on? So, it's, it's, it just goes on. Basically, the character,
05:30characterizations remain the same. And then we just pull up a story.
05:34you
