00:01Political analyst James Chai arrived at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, MACC,

00:12Chai, a former aide to ex-economy minister Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli, arrived at about 10am.
00:19Media reports on Monday said he would assist in investigations linked to a 1.11 billion ringgit semiconductor project.
00:29MACC Chief Commissioner Tan Sri Azambaki had earlier confirmed that Chai had returned to Malaysia
00:36and had been in contact with the commission, which had previously said it was tracking him in connection with the
00:42probe.
00:42Meanwhile, law firm Kesavan Advocates and Solicitors, representing Chai, said arrangements for his return were made
00:50after obtaining approval from his employer in London.
00:53The firm added it has been in communication with the MACC to facilitate the investigation.
