00:00And while we are blessed to have a fearless president, we should not live in a country
00:05where such constant fear of political violence permeates our society every single day.
00:11We can and we should have fierce disagreement in this country.
00:16As you all know, we disagree often, myself in this role and all of you in the news media.
00:20But those disagreements must remain peaceful.
00:24Debating, peaceful protesting and voting are how we need to settle disagreements,
00:28not bullets. Nobody in recent years has faced more bullets and more violence than President Trump.
00:36This political violence stems from a systemic demonization of him and his supporters
00:41by commentators, yes, by elected members of the Democrat Party and even some in the media.
00:47This hateful and constant and violent rhetoric directed at President Trump day after day after day
00:54for 11 years has helped to legitimize this violence and bring us to this dark moment.
01:01I was seated next to President Trump and the First Lady when the shots were fired
01:05before Secret Service swiftly moved us to safety backstage.
01:08The president's calm in the face of chaos while yet another individual was trying to take his life
01:14was really remarkable to witness.
01:17And it's something I will never forget.
01:19President Trump is fearless because he loves this country and he is willing to put his own life on the
01:25line
01:25to deliver on the promises that he made to the American public who elected him here.
01:31It's not just the media, it is the entire Democrat Party has made their pitch to voters across the country
01:38that Donald Trump poses an existential threat to democracy, that he is a fascist and that they compare him to
01:44Hitler.
01:45I mean, these are despicable statements that the American people have been consuming for years.
01:49And so many mentally perturbed individuals are led to believe these words are truth
01:54and then are inspired to act on it.
01:56I have a whole host of examples that we can share with you after.
02:00It is pages and pages of major Democrat Party elected officials saying,
02:06such as Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, just this April, this month, said,
02:09we are in an era of maximum warfare everywhere all the time.
02:14Governor Josh Shapiro said heads need to roll within the administration.
02:19Senator Alex Padilla said people are, quote,
02:21dying because of fear and terror caused by the Trump administration.
02:25Senator Elizabeth Warren, President Trump is making the country look like a, quote, fascist state.
02:31Senator Adam Schiff saying President Trump using a dictator playbook.
02:35Senator Ed Markey calling President Trump a dictator,
02:37saying that this administration's actions are authoritarianism on steroids.
02:42Governor J.B. Pritzker, never before in my life have I called for mass protest disruptions.
02:47These Republicans cannot know a moment of peace.
02:51You have Rep. Presley saying we'll see you in the streets.
02:55Monica McIver, a Democrat representative on Capitol Hill,
02:58we will not take this shit from Donald Trump.
03:01He thinks he's a dictator.
03:02We are at war.
03:04These are Democrat elected officials calling for war against the president of the United States and his supporters.
03:10I could go on and on.
03:11But again, when you have people in positions of power that are saying things like this every single day for
03:17years,
03:18you are inspiring violence by people who are already mentally ill.
03:21And that's what we've seen against this president for far too long.
03:24And that's what we've seen against this president for the president of the United States and his supporters.
